I did not get to see the matches, so I was hoping for some feedback on how the players performed? (Mata, De Gea, Romero and Darmian)

I watched Italy - Spain, Mata was invisible but it was a really underwhelming game in general. De Gea was good made some key saves.

Same thing happened during Chelsea's league seasons right until the moment he left.

At some point you have to admit there's a significant element of causation.

Mata has never played a full league season where the team had a good attack or was in a title race.

I started watching Italy Spain after mata was subbed. De gea held the game down for Spain, he really deserves the start this summer. Darmian also played really well. Italy in my opinion were the much better team

Watched Rojo and Romero play against Chile in a WC Qualifier.

Romero looked quite sharp, was really good with the ball at his feet several times and made some decent saves.

Rojo was decent overall, playing at LB. He got too tight at times and misplaced a few passes. Was very aggressive too though, actually surprised he didn't pick up a booking.

Darmian was better than I've den him for a long time. Looken comfortable as a right centre back, in Italy's three-back line. Never struggled defensiveley(probably wrote that wrong) and looked cool on the ball.
