Exercise extreme caution if you are considering a transaction with Casey K. She currently owes $4,165.50 for a major tarantula shipment in August 2015. Partial payment was followed by months of no payment. I contacted her in November of 2016 and offered her a payment plan, which she accepted. She agreed to pay the balance in five, equal monthly installments beginning at the end of December 2015, ending April 30, 2016. No payments or notices of late payment have been received to date. I contacted her on March 15, 2016. Here is the email exchange (Casey's words in blue):

Steve (March 15, 2016, 4:13 PM): Hey Casey, just checking in to see status of payment.
    -Steve
Casey (March 15, 2016, 4:21 PM): I went to the IRS office in Greenville. The reason why it was taking so long for me to get any $ is because they audited me. They didn't believe I was who I am. So now I have to wait 9 weeks to get my refund. I've never had to deal with this before. The man said it was probably because I haven't filed in 3 years. I haven't made an money to file, though.
Steve (March 15, 2016, 4:25 PM): Sorry, I didn’t ask about your tax refund, I asked about status of payment.
Casey (March 15, 2016, 4:35 PM): That is the status of payment I have is my tax refund?
Casey (March 15, 2016, 4:36 PM): Some "personal" things have happened. I only have me. That's all I need. I will pay you with my own money.

Steve (March 15, 2006, 4:38 PM): The agreement is end of April for the five-month payment of $4,165.50, correct?
    Casey March 15, 2016, 4:42 PM): 9 weeks?
Casey March 15, 2016, 4:43 PM): This started March 5th.

Steve (March 15, 2016, 4:46 PM): The agreement is the end of April, 2016 for completion of payment of $4,165.50, correct? And no payments have been made since the agreement.
Casey (March 15, 2016, 4:49 PM): Yes there has been payments made. I still have receipts/PayPal.
Casey (March 15, 2016, 4:50 PM): My fiance (then) sent a money order for $2400 the beginning of March 2016. March 2nd to be exact. He wouldn't leave me in debt like that because I have our son.

Steve (March 15, 2016, 4:52 PM): No, no payments for sure in 2016.
Casey (March 15, 2016, 4:52 PM): That was for December, January, and February's payments.
Steve (March 15, 2016, 4:52 PM): No, none.
Casey (March 15, 2016, 4:54 PM): You didn't get a postal money order from Shawn Wright? It was mailed on March 2nd.
Steve (March 15, 2016, 4:55 PM): No money order received.
    Casey (March 15, 2016, 4:57 PM): Ok....omg....let me think.
Casey (March 15, 2016, 5:47 PM): He has the receipt. Idk how long I have to wait before I file it lost or perhaps cancel it somehow? It should've reached you already. Truth be told, he was caught cheating. I'm no longer with him but he does take care of me financially to an extent. Now I didn't see the receipt of it myself but I don't think he'd lie to me about sending payment.....I hope...I was supposed to pick up what was left after the $2400.

Steve (March 15, 2016, 6:29 PM): As you stated on November 21, 2015, 2:01 PM:

"So I figured it up. I've paid you $349.50 via paypal and a postal money order for $485.00 which leaves me owing you $4,165.50 out of $5,000.00. :)

As we had agreed earlier in the email, the balance ($4,165.50) was to be paid in five equal, monthly installments at the end of December 2015 through the end of April 2016. No payments have been received to date. Based on the information below, $2400 by the end of March leaves you with $4,165.50 - $2400 = $1765.50 by the end of April. Unless we can reach another agreement, we will let a judge decide after April 2016. Agreed?
    Casey (March 15, 2016, 6:34 PM): I agree.
Casey (March 15, 2016, 6:35 PM): The $2400 has already been sent.

Steve (March 15, 2016, 6:38 PM): Can you confirm method of payment of $2400, the mailing address and date of mailing if by postal money order?
Casey (March 15, 2016, 6:40 PM): He said he sent a postal money order. I gave him your address. I don't have the receipt but he does. Idk if he sent it priority or in a regular envelope.
Steve (March 15, 2016, 6:48 PM): A money order doesn’t constitute payment until it is received. The money order to which you refer has not been received.
Casey (March 15, 2016, 6:53 PM): It's just like the first money order I sent you?
Steve (March 15, 2016, 6:56 PM): I am aware. I’ll leave to you to make sure it is here by March 31, 2016.
Casey (March 15, 2016, 6:57 PM): Ok. If not, I suppose I will have to take my judgement. If he lied, there's nothing I can do about it now.

All the while she continues to purchase collections and flip tarantulas. At present, she claims to have paid all but $800. I have no idea as to the arithmetic leading to this figure. I conclude it is highly unlikely she will pay the $4000+ debt. If she does not pay in full by the end of April 2016, I will bring her to court.

To all who read this- only part of this is true. Steve DID send a shipment and the majority have been paid for (all but $800 of which HE HIMSELF has given me until the end of April 2016 to pay). He has changed his price 3x after shipping as well as the duration to sell them! He has blasted "personal" information about me online (very unprofessional and unethical business practice). I even offered Steve to get the remainder of the Tarantulas since he cant follow through with HIS TERMS on our agreement and have yet to hear his decision. PROCEED WITH CAUTION AND GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING SIGNED BY A NOTARY OR LEGALLY DOCUMENTED PRIOR TO DEALING WITH HIM.

Can either of you prove your statements? Not trying to mini-mod here, but both of you have very different sides of the story, not bashing either of you, as you are both well known sellers and members of the forums.

Any and all changes made were by agreement:
Steve (November 19, 2015, 5:41 PM): I saw your recent post on Arachnoboards listing some of the inventory. I think we both agree sales have not been as we anticipated. Rather than continue as we have done, I am requesting return of my inventory within a month.
You gave it a valiant try and I hope we can continue in some manner, perhaps as a supplier for your business. Please let me know when you have a ship date.
Casey (November 19, 2015, 5:53 PM): Thank you very much. I thought that we agreed at me paying you wholesale? I know I said that I would pay for it when I got my loan (which is taking a while but they sent me through to a microlender since I didn't need that much). They have everything they need. I'm just waiting for a response. You never gave me a price (on what I owe you wholesale). My husband is wanting to pay you for the entire stock (minus what I've already sent via paypal) if you can't wait for my loan, that is. I can go back through paypal and see what I paid you for, etc.....and then go down the list and subtract that from the inventory you sent? I would rather just pay you for it but since Idk what you paid for it and what you're adding to it to profit from, Idk what to pay you so that we both profit from it. Please lmk asap. Thanks!
Steve (November 19, 2015, 6:09): Paying wholesale would work as well. 2x is the profit margin and that would put your spiders at a little over $5000. Let’s round this down to $5000 even. From this number you would subtract what you have sent over via PayPal and that would be what you owe.
Casey (November 19, 2015, 6:32 PM): Ok that works. Let me go through my paypal and add it up. Thank you. I will get back to you with my number as soon as I'm done. Please feel free to.go behind me.
Casey (November 19, 2015, 6:32 PM): Once I add it up and give you my number, would you prefer it all at once or would you allow me to make monthly payments on what I owe you? May sound like a silly question but that's about all we have in our savings account. I don't mind paying it all but if you can work with me on payments that would be easier on my end....but if you need the money asap I will do what you ask and what is right, either way.

Steve (November 19, 2015, 7:40 PM): Sure, how about dividing the remainder over the next 5 months: end of December, January, February, March, and April. That extends you to tax season, which gives you a little boost, planning time, and more growth/molt-sex time.
Casey (November 19, 2015, 7:43 PM): Awesome! Thanks! That will work for me. Yeah tax time will be a decent chunk. Either way, that's a plan! Thanks Steve! When I get my loan I will be purchasing more from you directly if you don't mind. That way we both profit in the end. I appreciate your business.
Casey (November 21, 2015, 2:01 PM): So I figured it up. I've paid you $349.50 via paypal and a postal money order for $485.00 which leaves me owing you $4,165.50 out of $5,000.00.

Wow. You can type my name (that's obvious). Anyone can put print in a different color and type text. I can prove payments made to him via PayPal AND Postal money order! I'm missing 2 (due to carelessness) but doesn't mean he wasn't paid.

Rather than argue, screenie what you're stating, and prove it. What you're currently doing solves nothing.

Casey K has went back on trades with me in the past and only with the help of a good friend did the trade actually get honored, and refused to honor DOA's because she doesn't recognize the t's she sold me.

frankly, I'm done dealing with her and I caution all those as well. Luckily she doesn't owe me any money.

I've dealt with Steve123 and I have never had an issue with him. He's knowledgeable and honest.

The part I find almost impossible to believe is that Casey K. couldn't verify who she was with the IRS. That raises a red flag to me.

I put it up there because not everyone knows w/the new forum software you can Drag/Drop images from your desktop. The previous forum software was a nightmare IMO to up pics. W/this one, if one using Windows, just use the Snipping Tool to take a screenshot, save to desktop, drag/drop.

I DID verify who I was with the IRS. There were a lot of people standing in line at the IRS office who were audited for THEIR protection. It wasn't anything I did wrong. It's called Tax Payers Protection. Also, the woman that completed my verification process (and told the IRS to continue with my tax return) told me that it could've been due to the fact that I hadn't filed any returns since 2012.

Well, that's really interesting. I've never heard, doesn't mean it's not possible, of a lot of people in the same line or IRS office for that matter, that were subject or believed to be subject to identity theft? That is what the Tax Payers Protection program is for.

The probability of all those people there at the same state, city, place and time seems rather high, ie, next to impossible, unless there is some missing information perhaps....

Still waiting on those screen shots.

I'm not working from a computer. All I have is my cell phone. I screened shot payments towards Steve only as the rest of my account is irrelevant. These are a few.

The IRS in Greenville county, SC. had several people in line for the same reason I was in line. They were there to submit their SS cards and Drivers License or state I.D.'s to verify that they were the person(s) filing their taxes and that no one else had stolen their identity. Look it up. Now there were other people in line for other reasons as well but there were two women next to me in line that said they were there for the same thing. They had never been audited and neither have I.

The Tarantula in reference that I sent you was "jet black". You posted a picture of a Tarantula the same color as a P. Muticus! I even posted pics of it in the gallery for I.D. and SEVERAL people agreed that it wasn't the same Tarantula!
