Because who needs facts and evidence anyway, right? I honestly hoped I would never have the misfortune of meeting someone as vile and hateful as you, but in this day and age, I should have known it was unavoidable. I calmly presented my beliefs and the sources I used to back it up. No, the wage gap is not a result of widespread workplace discrimination. No, 1 in 5 women is not the average rape rate in the United States, and no, women don't avoid fields of work for fear of it. If you could present reliable sources to back up your side, I would at the very least reflect on my views and sources. But no, feelings over facts, amirite? You degenerated to insulting me after sending me a long, strongly worded text around midnight (did I not tell you I was sick?) attacking my views for everyone in the chat to see. Of course he had to agree with you. At this point, I'm not 100% sure he hasn't sucked Obama's dick with the amount of hypocritical, uninformed rhetoric he spouts that came right from the Chief himself. You both refuse to look at facts and instead listen to the people you look up to as your sole source of information and beliefs. You claim I'm a deranged, privileged person who can't see reality and refuse to use common sense, yet you're the one who derailed the argument and tried to make it about how you can and can't compare things (it wasn't even relevant, at all.) You claim I'm blind, yet you won't question your own views regardless of what's presented to you. This way of thinking pisses me off, and I don't think I've ever legitimately shaken with rage until tonight. It's actually sad to see someone as narrow minded and hateful as yourself.
