Bically, Sin is a never ending cycle, and this new one came back way too early. Yuna loves Tidus, but he is a completely different guy. The drama ends with the party having to reunite and take it down once again. But this time Tidus knows he is a ghost from the start.

The japs hated the book and the Audio drama as it shits on the entire effort of the 2 games.

The problem lies in the fact that some of the summoner parties relies on love while other are just friends. On the love side, your rival in FFX, which consists of only 2, a female summoner and a male guardian. Another perfect example is Yunalesca since she choose her husband to be her final aeon.
But Yunas party consisted only of friends until they hit it off with Tidus, and you have Braska, auron & jecht that are cleary just Bro-ing it up.

That sentence implies that since sex is involved it shatters the lore that the final aeon is as strong as your feelings for the guardian you choose. Now its just how hard their dead body can make you cum.

I love how even the Japanese fans hated it. Glad to know even they have some standards, at least.

Also there was never a single time when Square successfully expanded on their stories. Advent Children, Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus, all those direct sequels to the other Final Fantasies, all of which have been absolutely woeful (at least in terms of plot and character development) and did more harm to their respective games they were paying homage to than good. But that doesn't matter because as long as it has spikey hair and a buster sword all the mindless fanboys/fangirls will line up to preorder anything Squeenix farts out. Makes me worry about how they're going to handle the remake too, although it doesn't seem TOO bad from the latest trailer they've shown so far.

Gay sex or not, you can have sex with a fresh corpse. The body of a recently deceased still functions for a few hours. Vowels loosen, urine gets released, and blood still flows to penises and vaginas if stimulated.

Why Square allowed this to be part of the cannon lore will forever be beyond me. These Blood Rituals were used in the past, though. So I can see where they might have come from.

See FFX is actually one of the most popular FF titles in Japan (in fact i think its still the best selling one even over VII), anyways, the writters really loved the story and felt it wasn't finished and wanted to to much more with the characters even after the Sin storyline was completed. The writers want to make an X-3 and said they it would be taken under consideration if there is enough fan requests. This was to try to get the ball rollin.
