Why /r/The_Donald needs to be annihilated (self.Anarchism)

I posted yesterday that one of the mods of /r/The_Donald is a violent misogynist and major contributor on /r/TheRedPill. But it doesn't end there. The sub has had AMAs by alt right figures like Vox Day and Milo Yiannopoulos, and their language is indicative of a lot of TRP-slash-/pol/ influence ("cuck" as an insult). The sub is a hive of alt right activity, and that's a problem.

Why? Because this sub probably attracts a lot of "normal" conservatives/reactionaries/moderates who support Trump. And it regularly gets featured on /r/all. With the extremely fringe nature of the alt right, and the fringe nature of alt right-friendly subs who normally get on /r/all (/r/KotakuInAction and, formerly, /r/fatpeoplehate), these people would otherwise never be exposed to it. But now these bastards have a clever propaganda arm, one which takes their diarrhea bath of an ideology and encapsulates it in a way that's easy for relatively well-adjusted human beings to swallow.

It's different than Trump retweeting white supremacist shit. That is of course pretty dangerous in itself, but what we're seeing here is the potential growth of politicized misogyny, and other bizarre aspects of the alt right.

It needs to be stopped.

That's one reason why I rarely check All anymore, because it's hard to avoid infuriating intolerant subs. It was annoying as hell with all of the sexist stuff like "pussy pass denied" and other men's rights circle jerks that somehow get upvoted to the front page. Then there's this Trump crap where it's a hive mind of people that are hardcore Trump worshipers that turn a blind eye to the bad things Trump actually says, like the blatant xenophobia. The thing is that it's hard to ban these subs. When they did crack down on stuff, like white supremacy and other hate group subs, people cried censorship and had the owner of Reddit resign. That is a thing, there is free speech, even on message boards that have their own rules. Hate mongers have a long history of using free speech to their advantage, and pretending that it means freedom from consequences. Personally, I'd say the best solution would be to allow users of Reddit to have an ignore button for offensive subs, instead of locking these features behind a pay wall.

It's probably not going to happen. Mods only care about this shit if it brings bad press to reddit.

Now, maybe if a few journalists do an article on how reddit is a major gathering place for trump supporters the mods might want to distance themselves from the sub, but with it being a political sub I don't really see it getting deleted. Unlike coontown and fatpeoplehat it isn't explicitly a hate subreddit, it's just a subreddit for a candidate whose followers are all extremely hateful.

It's "this sub is for fascism" vs "this sub happens to have a lot of fascists in it."

It's why /r/Europe is still around.

r/european is a clusterfuck of white supremacists, while r/europe tends to remove that information, although both have a large fascist presence

Ok...how? Like, even if people did what ATPL didnt suggest but simply mentioned, what would that do? Like...if people hypothetically started beating up fascists or alt right whatevers Trump is still a dude and still the frontrunner and the sub will still be up. Admins aren't going to do shit, I don't know what any kind of brigading or whatever would accomplish with that in mind (regardless of the sites' rules on it).

Like...I get it and I agree, but how? We all know this shit already, a post like this becomes useful when it is a plan
