I am expecting this small piece of advice to be the first step towards some rule changes giving corporations a bigger presence and more powers on the types of discussion that happen on reddit.
Many Corporations hate seeing unofficial subreddits appear alongside their corporate websites on search results. This is why corporations have already infiltrated many subreddits bearing their name leaving them are indistinguishable from official social media channels. See /r/Kelloggs as an example.
However, there are a resistant few protest subreddits like /r/monsanto. These now seem to be under threat by the trademark owners. It is doubtful that reddit would resist the money men when they come for their trademarked subreddits.
