We are lacking a clinical finisher and an accurate crosser.. really felt that they were sold prematurely..

Nani would be an additional problem for us had he stayed. People glorify him when he's gone but the minute he steps on a pitch you realise why he was gone in the first place.

RVP could have been useful but he's long past his best and it was probably the best decision to offload him.

Neither would have taken us nearer the title.

I probably agree about nani... but RVP I feel that he still has a lot to offer. He is just lacking confidence. All he has to do is regain that zlatan confidence and he will be a beast. The problem with this season is our poor finishing and the shots on goal. Seems like no one wants to take that responsibility of finishing and we are over-relying on martial.

To be fair he had some quality moments. Not many during the Moyes shambles, but before that he had a good few seasons. The problem came that he was trying to fill the un-fillable boots of Ronaldo.
