Bull

I lived in germany for 27 years and a majority of people are more than fed up with the current situation. People are abandonning Merkel like rats leave a sinking ship. Germany right now is one small step away from civil war.

I am German and i had to kill like 10 People to get breakfast this morning its like actual war in here. On a More serious Note nothing is happening. The Afd wont win anything and Even if they get like 20 percent there ist no Partie, that want to work with them together and many People who vote them don't Know Shit about them. Yeah they got like 15 percent in Sachsen Anhalt but just because the npd wasn't Voted by Anyone they just switched the Name And got like 5 percent more so Yeah. Nothing will Change

Naa, this is not how this works. The AfD will chase the CDU from now on and force them to move back to the center/right.

It will be like it was the last decades with the Green Party. The Greens had never more percents of the votes than the AfD has gotten now, they never won an election, but they forced all the other parties, including the former right-center CDU, to turn green and left. And they did it from the opposition. As will the AfD now. It already began.

Depends. 50% would still reelect Merkel.

Last podcast I've listened to said something about 35% but only because they want to keep her in the european parliament which she basically rules

They had regional elections a week ago. AfD didn't win a single state, and only were second in Sachsen-Anhalt. In the other states voting, the left rose even further. AfD gets around 15% of the votes nationally. They're a fringe party. So yeah, no bullshit, I know what I'm talking about. Germany is done.

You're so full of shit. Do you even know how our election systems work?

If you think a sixth of the stag is a fringe party when we're stealing seats from CDU, CSU, SPD, Grüne, etc. You're a retard.

You know the Nazis only got 12% when they forced elections, right? We're beating that.

Aaaand here comes the Nazi comparison

Bro :) what the hell are you talking about?

  1. Die Linke lost almost everywhere

  2. Afd got from almost 0 to 15% which never happened before in germany and is yuuuge

  3. CDU the former rightwing party lost yuuuge because they are single handedly responsible for the migration crisis.

  4. SPD didn't win more than within normal margins of fluctuation.

So obviously you don't know what you're talking about.

As a Christian Democratic Union, they really disappointed. I'm assuming they're more left wing now?

They're so far left now that members of the Grüne (green party) prefer to side with them in elections. Crazy times man, crazy times

The Grüne hasn't been relevant for a while, and in part became more centered, in part got a lot of their goals adopted by the other parties.

It's relevant in my state. We have Kretschmann :((

They were a good party before Mrs. Heeb got in charge and ESI took over everything about it. The whole union coalition became a farce when ESI jumped in.

Yeah, they kinda suck at being Christian. Don't judge, love thy neighbor, etc.

Merkel is the forefront of Christian behavior and half the party is turning their backs on her.

CDU actually didnt lose mich but SPD did big time

I hope you're right. I've enjoyed my European vacations with my wife, and visiting Germany was always a highlight, I'd hate for that to change.

No, he's actually right. I live in Germany too and what I'm seeing is that AfD on their own will never get enough traction. The problem is that CDU/CSU is a joke of a conservative party. If they don't do an 180 on immigration, Germany is fucked.
