From a biological perspective Briana is a male. His genetic pattern is XY not XX. His bone structure is a direct result of going through male puberty. There would have to be a genetic therapy devrleloped that changed his genetic structure to XX, and at best you could then adequately call him a her. It's 2016 did you have basic genetics in High School?

If you want to call Briana a social female, no problem with that. But the term female tends to be limited to those who carry XX. If you want to call a basic statement of fact as being a dick, the best thing I can tell you is to crack a book on basic Biology, because Science is not a dick, its simply the truth.

I stated a BIOLOGICAL FACT. You might not like basic truths but having B.S in Science in Biology, that ha I don't use. I am not going to run around and call something an inaccurate term. Next you are going to expect everyone who identifies themselves as a furry to be identified by their animal name. Just because someone likes to dress up doesn't mean I have to humor them or yourself for that matter. There is a limit to make believe and it stops at BIOLOGY.

A better question is why are you so upset that someone is allowed to have a viewpoint that is counter to your own? I tend to find in religious people who have problems with other religions tend to be so weak minded on their own faith they can't take another view point, so they lash out. Something to think about the next time you are upset at co-worker who doesn't agree with your whim of the day.

You must not have heard about the history of the Cuban travel ban. Any country can ban travel to certain countries whether it be for political or health reasons. American citizens traveling to North Korea gets taken hostage about 5 times decade, they are then used as negotiation pawns to get concessions for North Korea which extends the regime which leads to greatly increased human misery.

You can replace ban with treason, doesn't matter to me. But US citizens should not be allowed into North Korea just like if a country was an Ebola hot spot, there shouldn't be tourists going there in the first place.

If you're going to go down the "it's biological man" road, then you'll lose. I mean, you could just look at the research on brain structures of transsexuals, because genetically, Brianna Wu has the brain structure of a female. This isn't just conjecture, this is becoming pretty well established in the scientific community because multiple studies seem to confirm a biological mechanism for transsexual desire.

If you want to refer to Brianna as a 'he' because it's edgy to oppose transsexualism, that's cool and all. But don't do it under the guise of scientific enlightenment, because that's just intellectually dishonest.

It's akin to calling people with Down's Syndrome non-human, because they have an extra chromosome compared with all over homo sapiens. While it might be technically true, you just look like an idiot.

You also help cloud what could be legitimate criticism of Wu. I don't know enough about the whole GamerGate thing to have a dog in the fight, but what I do know is that this is exactly the type of thing that people cite when they talk about harassment online.

If you want to criticize someone, do so on merits other than just non-PC shit flinging.

By your reasoning you are calling Transsexualism a genetic disorder? Is that what you are going to base your disagreement with the statement that XY is male and XX is female?

You could have your penis chopped off, God forbid. And you would still be called a genetic male. A female athlete could go on extended testosterone to the point where her clitoris resembles a penis, she is still a genetic female.

A transexual can have their genetalia plastiformed into the genetalia of their dreams and they are still genetically the sex they are genetically born to.

If this truly bothers you, I highly suggest you get into genetic engineering and work on a way to transfer a persons genetic pattern from XY to XX and vice versa. Because when Briana turns himself into XX, I'd feel comfortable calling "him" a "her". Maybe that treatment would get the suicide rate of sexual reassignment to the the regular rate (reassignment patients are 20X's higher than unaltered patients). Yes, that surgery is that dangerous to a persons mental health and physical health. Read the studies, there are a few on it. SO maybe this troll will inspire you to do something of worth with your life.

There is nothing you can write that will convince me that a person born genetically XY is a genetic female and you should know that. I mean if Briana was born XXY trisomy or a hermaphrodite and was sex changed before they had genetic testing to determine his actual sex, then I'd probably be a little freer with the facts at that point, but frankly I don't know him that well to ask, nor would I plan to get to know him. He has his life that I'm sure is swell, and lord knows mine is rocking after a nice raise this week.
