Why is speaking at an 11-year-old level a bad thing? Are presidents supposed to be highly educated, and say things in a superfluous way, so nobody can understand them?

This article was posted on the front page. There were quite a few people who claim to be anti-Trump who defended him- you don't make complicated speeches you you are trying to reach a wide base of voters, some of whom are not very smart. Everyone needs to understand your policies in order to make informed decisions.

Everyone knows the greatest leaders in history speak with eloquence and a lexicon that rivals Webster. Their ability to formulate cogent arguments that adequately explain a policy decision is bang-up. The layman thinking leaders should cheapen their oratory prowess to the level of the degenerates are clearly ill-informed and unsophisticated.

But Donald Trump isn't speaking to lawmakers, he's talking to the laymen. Ben Carson has already said that Trump is well spoken behind closed doors. Donald trump isn't trying to alienate voters with big words or phrases like 'oratory prowess'.

It's not a bad thing. Even the best executives like Trump speak at lower levels. It's just a more effective way to communicate. It's to the point and avoids ambiguities.
