although we've bottled every single competition we've been involved in this season I genuinely think this squad could've ATLEAST won the league if we had sacked van gaal in December. we was top of the league, everyone else had dropped points and we also had a very easy group in the champions league to get by. van gaal has shown us so many times this season that he doesn't believe we're a world class club nor do we deserve to get any silverware. he's spent 250million in the past two years and apart from martial and blind, who was in the squad today? darmian, schneiderlin, schweinsteiger, depay.. all players we bought but have left on the bench. remember last year when we kept di maria on the bench and played young instead? these are players who have played in top flight football, world cup winners and players who would blossom at any club in Europe. our squad only looks weak because its managed by a weak manager. most of his decisions are unfathomable and i simply do not understand how our board can accept these results from a club that won the league literally 3 years ago. the fact he comes out and sais us fans are living in the past instead of accepting he's out his depth in this league is a disgrace. all we have to look forward to now is getting kicked out the fa cup and watch city possibly humiliate us and finish below chelsea and liverpool. we're fucking man united and we deserve better. we're not arsenal who haven't touched the league in 12 years nor are we liverpool who haven't won the league in 25 years. i apologise for the shitpost but it's disheartening that some of you fans are defending van gaal, blaming the team and claiming that our squad is shite. the only positive he's brought to the club is that he's signed martial and played some youth but honestly we only played them because of the injuries. i really hope he leaves at the end of the season and we get a manager who respects the club and wants to win.
