                In SAF days Rashford would be lucky to get a League Cup game and would probably be on loan in the Championship not starting up front vs Liverpool.

                            If this Season is to be thought of as a "Success", then here's what needs to happen:

                            • Win the FA Cup, or at least put up a very strong effort in the final against Palace/Watford.

                            • Clinch 4th in the League, somehow. Hopefully City and W.Ham drop easy points in the last 8 Games but I doubt it. Although to be honest I'd take Europa.

                            Because if we don't achieve both of those targets, here's how United's Season Overview will look come the blow of the final Whistle on May 15th:

                            • Got knocked out of Champions League Group Stages, a group some would call a "gift". Then as of tonight failing to even reach the Europa League Quarter Finals.

                            • Failed to Win either Domestic Cup (Sure, some valiant efforts but that's not what people will remember)

                            • Failed to secure Top 4 in a PL Season where Chelsea had an abysmal start, and with 8 Games left Leicester and Spurs were favourites to win, not Arsenal nor City.

                            • Had some embarassing defeats, including losing to all 3 2 newly promoted Teams in the PL and FC Midjytland (I know they crushed the second leg but still, the first leg was a disaster)

                            • Months of terrible performances, with constant calls for LVG's resignation. Unhappy fans is not a good thing.

                            A team with the legacy that Manchester United have should not have the Season Overview that resembles an 8th Placed Team in the League. But maybe that's what we are now, certainly looks like that each weeek with how some players perform.

                            LVG was given a quarter of a billion pounds to make this Team special again. And that above is what he produces? I've never really spoken out against LVG but that is absolutely grounds for sacking.

                            Don't get me wrong, the players need a good kick up the ass too but you can't fire and suitably replace 20-25 People in 2 months. If José is truly to be our next manager, he has some work to do. ****

                                      First let me say Lingard was in my opinion the best player tonight. Constantly trying to create chances, moved constantly to create space and to receive the ball, and had some nice flicks and passes. Don’t understand why he gets slated, but even if you do think he is an average player he has turned up since the new year.

                                      Blind, Mata, and Carrick were horrendous. Mata offers nothing against a team that is capable of pressing because he can’t beat a man or protect the ball at all. Blind had another shocker, he obviously needs a rest. Carrick’s recent form has been terrible.

                                      Fellaini, De Gea, Darmian and Smalling were all good again. But seriously something needs to change. Our club is slipping further and further into mediocrity. I’d rather see Giggs have the rest of the season, because there is no way LVG is staying passed this summer, there can be no way back now.

                                      The thing I'm really struggling with is how did we improve in the last 2 years? In 6 months you've seen a very clear direction that Liverpool are going in. They almost one the league cup, and are now in the quarter finals of the Europa league. And this isn't even his team, and hasn't had an actual transfer window to work with. It's also completely possible that they overtake us in the league with some of the fixtures we have in the last 10 games. Absolutely shambolic how these last three years have been managed at the club all the way around, and with the cash that's been brought in, there's no excuse.

In all honesty I expected it after our display last week, and virtually no games this season have made me think any differently.
