I said it in another thread - I see the likes of Martial and Memphis as more forwards than playmakers. We've been struggling to create chances for a while now so I'd love to see us bring in a player like Mahrez, someone that can finish an attack but also start it as he has done on so many occasions this season.

Ultimately it depends on what we do with our team. If we use Rooney as our attacking midfielder, we'll desperately need someone that can create chances like Costa for Bayern because Rooney offers so little creativity going forward.

Griezmann would be fantastic but I'd rather see him play as a second striker than right winger, not that he is a particularly realistic target anyway. He just signed a new contract with a buyout clause worth silly money and is the focal point of the current Atletico attack unlike lets say James who has been transfer listed and is rather dispensable.

There really aren't many great right sided wingers around and the last thing I'd like to see us do is spend ridiculous money on a player like Felipe Anderson or Mane, we already have two pretty raw and inconsistent young forwards.
