So I was using /r/hardeware swap for the first time (also first post on Reddit). I was trying to sell my current desktop. At first I had forgotten a time stamp. I later added one when a moderator told me to do so. I had taken a pic of a paper (labeled w/ date and time, forgot username) in front of my desktop. The mod went on to say it was bad and told me to run 2 apps on my monitor and put the time stamp on that. I was only selling a desktop, no monitor! and so i replied saying that and that I would put the time stamp in my PC w/ my username. After that I was told that it would not be enough, and they wanted me to take separate pictures for every piece in my desktop with a separate time stamp for each. Thing is, I was selling a PRE-BUILT desktop, and I did not know how to take it apart. After telling the moderator this they responded saying that they will never let it be posted. The thing is, I broke no rules and did the time stamp and every aspect of the post as the rules required. I reported the moderator several times through out the messaging but am pretty sure it will go no where because most reports don't. Thanks for letting me rant about it.
