No, absolutely not. Functioning Democracies have more than one political party, and a big part of that is not descending into civil war.

Bashing people who disagree with you might seem really good and fair while you're with a crowd who all agree with you, but can you at least imagine what it would be like if you were the person being bashed?

This is dangerous rubbish; it's not acceptable to bash people who want to vote differently from you in an election. Even if they're in your campaign rally meeting space, you still don't get get bash them up. That your people are doing that, and you're telling each other it's ok is genuinely scary.

I don't know where this goes now, but the more you tell each other that the left are dangerous, the more you tell each other that is perfectly rational and reasonable to behave like this; the closer we come to people dying, as though this isn't horrible enough already.
