/r/Bestof has blocked the /r/The_Donald from being submitted.
Anyway, the guys from /r/The_Donald need to blame somebody. Who mods /r/Bestof that they have vaguely heard of? They know, blame Canada..... I mean blame /u/DavidReiss666. As everyone knows he's evil. 666 is in his username. He must be really evil.
If only I could take the credit. I would love to be able to accept that honor. But, sadly, the mod of /r/Bestof that blocked /r/The_Donald was not me. I'm not going to name names, but he'll probably be along to take the credit. As he should be proud of blocking them. I know I would be proud of it if I was actually the one who did it.
I stand by my fellow moderators when shit happens. The simple reason why I am happy to take the hate for this is that most of my fellow moderators are very good people. From time to time, I think they're worth my getting blamed by stupid people for what amounts to good moderation. So, in short..... I 100% support the blocking of /r/The_Donald. We block other subreddits like /r/Undelete, /r/Conspiracy, and /r/SubredditDrama. The last subreddit is a really bad place. You don't want to go there. You might end up reading this very submission.
In case anyone is noticing the pattern there, those subreddits are blocked because /r/Bestof doesn't want to be a Meta-subreddit about Reddit-itself. So we won't allow internal Reddit meta discussion. Any subreddit that regularly tries to brigade gets blocked. We aren't going to give bad-actors help to be worse-actors.
Dude from /r/MetaCanada who can't remember what the /r/Canada fiasco was about. In short, he can't remember that:
  • The thread was removed by another mod (again, it wasn't me).
  • It was about Abortion (not the death penalty)
  • It was something that would have been allowed if the title had not been editorialized.
  • The reason I was removed at /r/Canada was that Qgyh2 wrote up because he half-read a PM. He doesn't mod anything except when he wakes up from slumber after he believes a PM from a random person about something that he would know about already the facts of if he wasn't asleep all the time.
In case anyone is wondering, the issues that happened at each /r/Worldnews, /r/Canada, and /r/Technology all follow that basic framework: Qgyh2 not knowing what what is happening but assuming he knows all.
Other points of interest:
Now I'm getting lots of PMs threatening me in vague and stupid ways. One guys want to rape my mother. My mom is dead and was cremated. So if there is a story about a guy doing something weird from a park later tonight........you'll know the police caught him.
Anyway, there is more than enough stupid going on in that thread. Figured everyone else here at /r/SubedditDrama might find it interesting. In case anyone is wondering, I already ran this post by the mod-team of /r/SubredditDrama.
Maybe we'll all get really lucky and all these crazy people will finally leave Reddit for Voat. Like they keep claiming they are going to do but then never follow through upon. But I doubt were going to be that lucky.
