    Try using an alternative to reddit... here's some of the better ones:

    Snapzu - Excellent insightful content and community. XP leveling system instead of karma adds a sense of progress. Invite only to thwart spammers, but I got my invite in 3 or 4 hours.

    Hubski - Classic alternative, been kicking it around for 4-5 years, but still little activity. Community is small but nice.

    Spreadit - A dark themed reddit alternative that is similar to reddit and easy to use. Content and community is lacking however.

    Hacker News - Another old school place for tech and business talk. Also has some programming and other discussions.

    Empeopled - Gives you more influence based on the amount of up-votes you've received. Use influence to steer future of the site.

    Stacksity - 9gag style browsing but for more than just pics.

    No, Reddit is set up so that if you were here first, you can make whatever subReddits you want and will never be asked to turn them over.

    I think the worst they can do is just ban the subReddit.

    The only thing you can really do is just start creating subReddits and setting them private to never be used as a way of silent protesting which would in turn stop Reddit from making money off it in the future.
