More then often I find that there's a 50/50 chance that girls are into wrestling. I know plenty of women that are good-looking and that are into wrestling. Heck, I've heard that pro wrestling has a higher female fanbase then a lot of other sports (Isn't that one of the reasons WWE went PG?). And yeah, most the girls I know want to bang some of the wrestlers (Surpisingly, most of my friends who are girls and into wrestling want to bang CM Punk).

Really depends on how you go about it and what there taste is. My sister is into joshi and puro because she's very athletic.

i had the same struggle too man, started getting back into wrestling around royal rumble '14 before the network launched and at first my girlfriend just shat on it. But as time went on and I explained that while the outcomes were predetermined, the risks and athleticism and skills to make it look "legitimate" were very real she started to turn around. She became more interested when she found out there were female wrestlers so I focused on that with her and her opinion turned more positive. I showed her total divas as well and that was pretty much the main turning point for me. The NXT women's division really helped as well in demonstrating that the women can be both good and worthy of focus. Now she's all in, replica divas belt, db/Sasha banks tshirts, and we're going to mania together. She's actually more excited about WWE sometimes than I am. It's a crap shoot on getting your SO into wrestling when they've never been a fan before, but I'd recommend the Total Divas route. It worked for me

Been with my gf for 4 years now and here's how it's gone over time.
Told her early on that I was a wrestling fan and she laughed it off.
Next time it comes up it's when myself and roomates are watching Punk/Rock at Royal Rumble and are fuming. This sparks her interest slightly.

On her own accord she saw an episode of Total Divas-I love trash tv so we watched it together which got her more curious in Bryan. Fast forward to watching Rumble-Mania together each year.

She also loves Lucha Underground as much as myself and complains when I don't have the latest episode. She's grown a mild interest in NJPW (mainly the juniors and Omega) and ROH (thank you Dalton Castle)

Long story short, you can't really convert somebody to like wrestling. I showed her some of my favourite matches and while she thought they were cool it wasn't enough to spark her own interest. Wait for that spark and nurture it.

I remember having to watch that movie for a Psychology class during undergrad. The guy had an antisocial personality disorder, and yet had a huge circle of friends and family who loved him, so pretty much the entire community started pretending the doll was real just for him. "She" got a job working as a mannequin, went to church with him, and at the end of the movie she "dies" and they have a funeral for "her"

That movies kind of fucked up. The process that Lars goes though is all one giant coping mechanism for his family dying off. He never properly grieved for his mothers death due to his fear of opening up to people and showing his raw emotions. Instead he goes on that charade with the doll to the point that he feels he's ready to move on, then she "dies" and gets his chance to really grieve and let it all go. I've seen something very similar years ago with an imaginary friend.
