BASED BLACK SCIENCE MAN

EDIT: Checked Twitter. It's the real deal.

Some of those replies, holy shit he triggered them hard

of course, clearly this guy doesn't know what's good for him. he's not a real african american in fact, he's a nazi!

It's amazing just how quickly the left will turn against someone; even someone so rooted in their ideology like Tyson. In the matter of a few hours he will go from leading champion to uncle Tom that doesn't actually know what he is saying or what's good for him.

And then you reach out your hand and bring him to your side.

Assuming you're speaking about Iron Mike's endorsement of Trump, I bet only the craziest of clowns would call him an Uncle Tom to his face.

The left and some of the right turned on Neil Degrasse Tyson a while ago for a couple of reasons. He came out pro GMO, and he's pretty vocal about creationism being nonsense.

He has gone on record as not really wanting to talk too much about religion, and refers to himself as agnostic, not atheist.

Apparently a lot of vocal atheists have annoyed him through social media messages over his use of the word god from time to time.

For example; after a successful launch of a spacecraft(I don't remember which one), he said "god speed". A lot of atheists gave him flack over that.

I'm an atheist and he had some interesting trivia to share about the origins of the phrase "god speed" in space flight, and the origins of "goodbye". Stuff I didn't know.

Atheists and agnostics bitch about the dumbest things.

I'm agnostic too...

Doesn't he know Bernard taught MLK his black rights?

Doesn't he know Killer Mike endorses Bernie?! They all listen to C list rappers, right?

Watch how quickly they try to besmirch his character even though a few weeks ago they were praising him and posted something pro-sanders he had said.

It's a pedantic point, but what is he saying that's offensive, even to a dyed in the wood Berniebot? Yes, people who don't like Trump don't want people to vote for Trump. Uh...thanks for the insight Tyson?

As no one managed to kill Obama, no way is anyone getting to Trump.

And just to make sure I'm clearly understood, I'd be horrified by either being killed - but I can't help but notice that lots of people really, really, REALLY hate them.

I gotta be honest, I couldn't interpret what he said. After reading all these comments I understand where he was going but Jesus can someone explain that tweet to me.

Those people aren't against Trump, they're against his supporters exercising their rights as American citizens to support him.

At least that's what I got out of it.

And I think that makes sense if you assume he is referring to the Chicago fiasco.

I'm a Sanders supporter but that was an embarrassment across the board, and Sanders reaction to it has been mediocre.

It's been worse than mediocre. I'm also a Sanders supporter but he lost a lot of respect when he basically refused to denounce the actions of the violent protestors who were likely acting under his campaign. (Similar to the BLM protestors) We called Trump out on the racism denouncement fiasco, why are people not freaking out on Sanders here too? It's ridiculous.

Well, there is that liberal media bias that liberals deny exists.

"Reality has a liberal bias herpty-doo." Is the best you'll get out of them.

And if you read the replies... GUESS WHO decides to turn it into a racial thing? Bitching and screaming at the man. Surely he will comply to their crybullying and temper tantrums and see the error in his ways!

I actually literally hate these people now.

They aren't opposed to Donald Trump or his ideals, they're opposed to free citizens - normal people with rights - voting for him.

Actually, a lot of them are opposed to freedom itself.

He's indirectly "defending" Trump by virtue of defending the democratic process. Hilarious to watch libcucks, who worhip the Black Science Man, sperg-out because he has betrayed the Church of Progressivism with his heretical remarks.

LOL as I read Black Science Man in the tune of "Secret Agent Man" but lyrically changed to "Secret Asian Man".

That's just it though. What they did is not progressive. And I would be just as irritated if Trump supporters went and did this at a Bernie Rally. This shit has got to stop. It's embarrassing.

Liberals may dislike Trump but what they really hate is the thousands and thousands of Trump supporters because they dare to disagree with their Liberal views. By voting Trump you are giving them the biggest middle finger possible. For once the lying media bias isn't working and it makes them hate us even more.

I read it as "people don't know how to deal with it when their fellow citizens have the right to vote freely for a president and instead of using that vote in a smart way, they use that vote on Trump."

Objectively, I'm not sure the tweet made sense. Subjectively, I think anyone could take it to mean anything they want.

Someone somewhere is showing that tweet to their spouse and saying, "see I told you NDT supports Gary Johnson."

"anti Trump supporters" = against those who support Trump

No, NDT always spews on about cringey convoluted nonsense. Every time a tweet of his gets posted, I ask myself what you're asking here. Reddit loves him though, so.

And yeah I know I'm saying this about him but he is very smart. He's also r/iamverysmart

Hey man I support Bernie but I also support your right to vote for whoever the fuck you want. This is still America even if I don't agree with what you believe in. Berniebots is prett offensive and the overly vocal majority like the people in Chicago last night do not speak for Bernie or the true reason a lot of us support him.

Berniefags showed their true colors last night and Sanders endorsed their behavior.

So, no, we don't believe you. Socialism isn't some beautiful concept that will make the world a better place. Socialism is ugly. Socialism is violent. Socialism HURTS real people.

Bernie Sanders understands this. When THOUSANDS of his supporters violently disrupted a private event, he tweeted and issued press releases in support, because he never expected them to behave any differently.

That's fine man whatever. We're all people. Not just an amorphous blob. Just like you guys.

I understand, and I appreciate your sentiments. I am glad that many on the left are willing to disavow those anarchists, even if Sanders himself isn't.

Stuff like this has me less patient than usual, today.

Seeing Secret Service agents surrounding Mr. Trump with their own bodies to protect him wasn't something I expected when I woke up this morning.

na na, hold your horses, i remember he said something very bad abou trump a while ago.

He could dislike Trump and still be against the violence and over-the-top protests.

he supports open borders lhe twitted "its a shame that i need a passport and permission to visit fellow humans on the other side of a non existent border"

    something along thous lines

He's just a principled adult instead of an emotional child. He understands how critical it is to stand up for the rights of even those you don't agree with.

Do liberals really not understand the point of borders or are they just pretending to be asinine?

A group of people appoint leaders to make laws to keep society civilized. Borders separate those people from people who follow different laws set by different leaders. Passports indicate to authorities which authorities have authority over people who travel across boarders.

Suppose we eliminate passports. You travel across a border, and for whatever reason, a foreign authority detains you. Without some sort of official document that is recognized by authorities in both countries, they have no evidence of where you are from or which other authorities to contact about your detention. Your word isn't good enough, as you might be an agent of some other government that is hostile to the nation.

Suppose we eliminate borders. How then do we know which laws are applicable where? Which leaders govern where?

Suppose we eliminate leaders. Then we have anarchy. And believe it or not, it is the poor and the weak who suffer in anarchy. Look at any failed state in the world.

I think what he's saying is that in a perfect world we wouldn't need borders, because everyone gets along, and it's a shame that we don't live in that perfect world.

Do liberals really not understand the point of borders or are they just pretending to be asinine?

no, they don't because they think everyone are children of earth and should be able to walk into anyone's country and take free shit.

Yeah, well he probably isn't a supporter of him or anything. He just thinks that the protests and attacks that are happening are ridiculous and against the rights of people who want to support trump. Any half-way intelligent person would say the same thing.

Yes, as most liberals also believe. Violence is never acceptable, unless it's in direct response to other violence.

Sanders thinks it's perfectly fine, however.

Quote? I'm pretty sure he simply was not aware how heavily represented he was amongst the rioters.

His official statement on his website. He blames Trump and says he's glad he had supporters at Trump's rally. Does not condemn the violence in any way.

He doesn't blame trump, he just says he's not surprised.

Honestly, I'm not either. Some of the more aggressive things he says scare people, and though it's certainly not his fault thay people choose to get violent (nor is said violence in any way acceptable), it's also not surprising. He made his bed and all that.

I'm pretty sure he simply was not aware how heavily represented he was amongst the rioters.

This was the premise I was operating on in the first place.

Any half-way intelligent person would say the same thing.

Cruz, Kasich and lil Marco confirmed to be less than half-way intelligent.

    This sounds like him saying

"it's not trump people don't like, it's their supporters" that's what I got out of it at least.

He probably has some crazy notion that if you don't like a candidate, not voting for him is what you should be doing rather than belittling those that do like him.

I love the liberal logic on this one. They love BASED BLACK MAN OF SCIENCE because of his intelligence and accomplishments. Then he makes a twitter post denouncing anti-democratic tactics and they conclude that he must, in fact, be dumb, instead of realizing that their own positions are dumb.
