edit: for the guy saying I cherry picked evidence, what I did was sort the thread by top rated comments, and not a single one of the top 10 comments said that Trump deserved this or something retarded like that. I saw your post in the Sanders thread, and I guess I'll post this here while I'm still allowed to as a Sanders supporter. I don't know all the details, and I don't think all of the details are out yet so I'll reserve any comments until later. However, I will say that I think we should never encourage violence. Period. Our best path towards progress and a nation, as humankind, lies in cooperation, empathy, and understanding.

I don't support violence perpetrated by or against any candidate's supporters. I firmly believe that the majority of Sanders supporters would echo that sentiment as well.

    Protests are okay in public spaces, but not private events. Especially an indoor rally. In fact what they did was downright illegal. Last time that I checked, /r/The_Donald, like the UIC Pavilion, is not a public space. BernieBots have no right to be here. Allowing them in is a privilege that can be revoked.

    Tolerance is a two-way street. A give and take. Right now we should not have to tolerate these troublemakers. They are destroying the democratic process. Seriously, how is it fair to stop voters from hearing a candidate speak? Many yet undecided voters went to the rally to hear Trump speak without being filtered first by the media. They wanted to hear what the man had to say in his own words. Instead the rally got broken up because professional agitators had infiltrated the event and there were legitimate security concerns for both the candidate and his supporters.

    I came to this thread because they annoyed me so much. I like to listen to everyone because regardless of my own affiliation in an election I want to know as much about both proposals. It is important because if your candidate fails then you know what to expect. I don't want them here. They have made that whole campaign and reading about this election odious on Reddit already.     Why are you guys so hungry for them to disavow what happened? Bernie Sanders supporters won they stopped you from being able to hold a political rally. Politics is part street fight and they just wiped the floor with Trump supporters. Now they are going to keep on disrupting events. All while you guys ask for Democrats to apologize for taking away your rights.

    Its like getting beaten up by a thug while his friends watch and laugh. Then after one of them says sorry while you lay on the ground with a broken nose. I can understand Trump stepping up and canceling the event so nobody gets hurt. However that does mean you should go hunting for apologizes.
