You know how there's any number of industry veterans that will tell you one of Paul Hayman's greatest strengths as a booker was the ability to effectively mask his workers' faults by amplifying their strengths? That's what we're seeing here - Ricky fucking Banderas of all people absolutely flourishing as a final boss/unstoppable monster.
LU's cinematic presentation style is probably best exemplified in how Muertes is booked... it's the perfect environment for this kind of character.
