The issue is still the language barrier. A game without an easily available fanpatch and/or no native english language option will still not be imported. You can claim that DoAX3 was fairly successful, but this is due to english being natively available in the game and it not being a text/dialog heavy game to begin with. Other games aren't often an option to import, so we still have to fight to get games to the west and get them localized as good as possible.
A really good example are the DQM: Joker games. DQM: Joker 2 was localized in the west when DQM: Joker 2 Professional (more content, more monsters, etc.) was already available in Japan. DQM: Joker 2 Professional never came localized to the west. Why? Why didn't they just DQM: Joker 2 Professional right from the start? It was already available in Japan. A huge fuck up on their part. These are the things we need to fight for. To get games to west in as good as a localization as possible.

If Bones is going for full media watchdog it's a big ask. What we did was attack the business model of the entire industry. Ads will barely do anything. A small blog with regular articles probably gets more traffic than deepfreeze. The goal of this is that he gets some revenue going to be able to invest time into this without it impacting his life too much. He either gets enough money so that he can spend the time and only work part time, to off set or he'll have to extremely reduce the amount of time he can work on deepfreeze and work a full time day job. That's a temporary restraining order. Those can be gotten extremely easily, requires no hearing, and are always short. It's just there so you have something legally protecting you in cases of emergencies. Usually you can get them even on the same day. The date of the actual hearing is shown on it too and that's when it gets decided whether it should be a stronger, more permanent, order. It technically counts but you could get one for very little and is practically meaningless.
