Why am I a part of Bitcoin ?
I am a part of Coinsecure. I work as the Chief Business Development Officer at Coinsecure. A part of my job is to sell bitcoin, though not like you sell bananas or strawberries. But everyday in my job I convince people to try bitcoin and fall in love with it eventually.
So the question which would come to anyone’s mind is out of all the beautiful excellent things out there in the world why did I choose to be a part of the bitcoin and blockchain revolution and not of any other Fortune 500 investment bank maybe or anything else as a matter of fact.
The reason is — “ The key to what drives me in my life is freedom and innovation”. I chose bitcoin because it is freedom and blockchain is innovation.
I believe I should have the complete freedom to spend my money anywhere on earth as long as it is legal. I do not care about being the richest person or the most powerful person on earth or becoming an overnight millionaire either, through trading bitcoin. I would be perfectly happy dying penniless like Nikola Tesla as long as I can give everyone the electricity to light up their homes.
However that being said, the pursuit of money isn’t bad in itself. Reason being in so many ways money buys you freedom. The freedom to eat what you like, the freedom to live where you like, the freedom to drive what you like, the freedom to wear what you like but also most importantly the freedom to choose what you want to do with your life, the freedom to work with the best minds, the freedom to create the future, the freedom to change the world into a better place for all.
So what do I want to do with my life? Well, I like to think of myself as a scientist. Not a financier but a scientist. A scientist who lives to innovate and drive the world into a new realm of possibilities — the sole purpose of my existence on this earth.
I want to see... I want to see…. I want to see…. I want to see things happen before I die. I want to see the most amazing things that are yet to come or are still an idea or a work under progress. I want to see myself with all the Iron Man technology to fly anywhere or the power of Frozen to build a house on a lone island with the 4-D printers. I want to see my computer talk smartly to me. I want to see all the data of the world interact with me visually. I want to see virtual reality happen. I want to see machines healing us not just physically but also emotionally. I want to see artificial intelligence. I want to see nanobots transferring my mind into a machine. I want to see the future...
But how do you access that future when there are constraints over the smallest of things? How do you buy a drone from United States or an Alienware from United States with an Indian Debit card ? Well, you cannot. How do you buy even the simplest games on Google Playstore?
How do you send money to your brother studying across the seas instantly if he is in a major trouble? Why should someone else decide what should I do with my money ? Why should someone else charge forex exchange costs to only transfer my money more slowly? Why should someone else tell me I cannot pay over 33K or 75 K even when I did all the paperwork asked of me for a credit card.
Bitcoin is FREEDOM. The freedom to transact anywhere on earth and in any amount you want and can afford. This is why I chose bitcoin. Bitcoin is based on blockchain technology.
Blockchain is simplicity personified. The simplicity that drives Apple. The simplicity that drives many excellent poets and writers and designers. The simplicity of a complicated worldwide ledger in the simplest form. Safe, secure, innovative yet clean and simple.
I believe in the huge potential of what can be built on top of blockchain. I believe that the answers we were looking for when some said if machines were smarter then that might be the day for extinction of mankind can be solved by blockchain.
Thus I am a part of Bitcoin. Thus I am a part of Blockchain because it allows me to be a part of the future. And to be among the ones who build the future while others might still be skeptical.
Not everyone might be motivated by the idea of being a part of a futuristic experiment but for those who do, I invite you to be a part of bitcoin.
Thank you !
