Thanks for the feedback! I personally wasn't involved with the design of this product but I can give you my personal opinions on why I think this product was designed as such. ROMER-G's are not any different from any of the other products, maybe the difference you are seeing are due to the build. G810 is very solidly built. As far as the the removal of the Palm rest, Ark Dock and G-Keys are concerned I think this was probably done to make a more streamlined design to appeal to those that wanted a more simplified aesthetic and give an option for those that want a nice solid keyboard with lighting options but not all the gamer doodads. Also a thing worth noting is with LGS and a Firmware update you can reprogram the F-Key to make them work like G-Keys. And a slightly hidden feature is that there are two magnets on the front base of the keyboard, it would be interesting to see if any users might take advantage of those to make a custom wrist rest.

That's perplexing, one would assume that it was designed to have a wrist rest. Given the goal of a streamlined, simplified aesthetic, a wrist rest designed and manufactured specifically for it would be cleaner than what a lot of people can achieve on their own. Guess it was a cost thing.

Thanks for the mini review. Could you say how loud it is compared to cherry MX brown switches with o rings, or the cherry silent switches?

From my experience, the bounce at the end of Romer-G's key travel is mostly from the keyboard flexing. I'd be very happy if the solid bottoming means G810 a sturdier casing.

Great feedback! I'm definitely going to share with Mark who helps design our keyboards!
