[Proposal] ban Squee- for encouraging targeted Reddit-based harassment (self.metanarchism)

..Forseti6 how have you not posted all the astagirl drama recently? her sympathy plays have been going thru the roof too.
i thought this drams would be rite up ur street.

I think it's understandable that people would be upset with Astagirl for certain reasons, but it's absurd to tag someone whom is the most prolific drama troll/brigader we have the misfortune of dealing with here (forseti) (edit: this forseti is apparently a much worse version of the original forseti poster) , and directing them to "drama" to stir up.

Further, there was a thread just a week ago about a proposal to ban squee- for telling Astagirl to jump down a well.

I don't think either of these things are banable as isolated incidents but Squee has shown a persistent determination to single out and target specific users of this sub with nefarious intentions and I think that probably warrants a ban

I'll abstain from this vote.

/u/Squee-, I've grown to like you quite a bit, but is this really how you want to be spending your free time? Fairly relentlessly harassing teenage girls on Reddit is probably the most unproductive and unhealthy thing I could think of.

Squee- has been warned here both for the Asta comment and for using misogynistic phrases. Yet, they persist and increase the danger by actively trying to set banned users with an axe to grind on members of r/@.

Also (and I'm a bit weary of crossing the streams, but it feels needed in this case), Squee- has been kicked from the r/@ IRC channel in the past for unapologetic usage of misogynistic language. They also showed up in the IRC under a new nick a few days ago and threatened Asta again to any one that would listen (as far as I know Asta doesn't use the IRC so this definitely wasn't a creative way to tell someone to logoff, but an outright statement of hate against another r/@ user).

Any of these things alone I would probably just say a warning should suffice, but there have been warnings. Banning is the next logical step.

FYI: Forseti6 isn't Forseti5, they're both drama trolls but Forseti6 is a recently created knock-off who's even annoying everyone in /r/drama with constant /pol/ style edgy bullshit. I'm pretty sure they're actually someone from here who's upset about me not being banned, by the way, they were ranting about sync0pate protecting me and knew a lot of details about the Arthropod Troll somehow. I have them blocked because they're obsessed with me and unlike Forseti5 they aren't even good-natured about it.

Either way, they should NOT be encouraged in any way whatsoever because they make a habit of actually harassing people instead of simply linking drama and laughing on the sidelines. I don't know what the fuck Squee was thinking but they should have been banned weeks ago anyway.

Oppose. I'd rather see a different solution that isn't a permanent ban, perhaps a more anarchist solution. I'd consider squee and asta a bigger part of the community than most here, and so I think we should come up with a better solution than going straight to a ban. Although I'd like to see asta give her opinion on it, she hasn't responded yet, and ultimately she should get a say. If she's been harassed because of it, that's a whole other issue.

I think we should also get a rule passed about stirring up shit in drama subreddits, those places are cancer.

I would support a temp ban though.

What about their constant habit of calling people misogynist slurs even after being corrected like 10 times, and their constant habit of giving out graphic depictions of how people should kill themselves? They've crossed the line at this point.

I haven't really seen any other complaints outside of the recent drama. If there have been previous issues, they obviously weren't brought up in meta until now. I am allowed my opinion, even if it is an unpopular one, and I have voiced it. Chances are, my one oppose is not going to have any effect.

Forseti6 (not Forseti5) is fucking annoying, I had to block them. They keep using slurs and have as their goal harassing people, not just linking drama to have a laugh.
