I have been in a few situations where I had to defend myself. I was once jumped by 5 guys in masks. Did I defend myself, absolutely. Did the thought of killing them ever cross my mind? No, I'm better than that.

I can't decide if I like these threads more or less than the anarchism threads about beating up people. Those are usually a little sillier with the rhetoric, but this one has some pretty good swings on who is being agreed with.

So people having the ability to smoke cannabis on planes without the stigma that really successful people like yourself attach to the drug would have absolutely no effect on the amount of drunk people that cause problems on planes?

This just goes and goes.

If people wanted to party with cannabis on a plane like they seem to do with alcohol , perhaps they might allow people to use vaporisers or oil pens ( I don't know if you've been around them but the smell dissipates far quicker then smoked flower) sold on board like the mini bottles. I don't know if they allow e cigarettes on planes but I'd imagine they'd have to allow them to.

Saying a fact does not make someone racist. I really wish white priveleged college students would look up what racism means instead of just calling it any time someone vaguely makes a comment related to race.

You do realize that shoplifting can get minimum wage employees fired right? It's not a victimless crime.

Either it was their fault and they deserve to get fired, or it wasn't their fault and so the company shouldn't have fired them. So you're either blaming a shoplifter for an employee's incompetence, or for a company/manager's incompetence. Is that seriously too complex for you to understand?

At least I'm enjoying this.

I'm more interested in the rhetoric behind that screenshot that got everyone arguing.

It's the kind of stuff you usually only get from brown berets and it's floating my boat.

The thread they screencapped has a pretty long chain of people calling trollbot on each other.

Hi, if this isn't complete bs, you probably have a case and should pursue it as to set a precedent for assholes who think it's okay to judge a book by it's cover. You may not win, but it's something that needs more attention than a fucking reddit post.

This is incredibly common and not illegal. Nothing can be done.

Essentially it's self-libel, but it's being projected by a third party and is completely unrealistic. I'm sure there is a way of arranging some magical words around to make this fall in line with illegality. this is utter bullshit and this person should not be held to that standard.
