Well i think this is because Poland is viewed as the most right-wing country which in current eurosituation is positive. Although before the immigration crysis in my opinion my homeland was unfortunately viewed as country of dark ages (poor catholand)...

What surprised me is that people are more positive about Russia as a superpower than the US. The users also seem to like Putin and Assad.

Also, so much for calling us antisemites, since most people here actually support Israel than not.

Sweden is a very controversial topic here obviously. It's the most disliked country but also seems to be #1 for most attractive citizens.

And of course, thank you for your feedback in the last question. Except the guy who said build a wall and then drew a wall. We can't actually build a wall, dude.

Correction: people feel more extreme about US as a superpower than Russia. Russia's distribution is a really nice bell curve, while the US is loaded at the outliers. US has 13 more people in the 1-4 bracket and 5 more people in the 6-9 bracket. Taking a simple point average shows 5.032 and 4.922 for Russia and US though, which means the US has a slight advantage in the sample mean (since lower score is more positive). The difference is statistically insignificant [error in the mean for the Russian score alone is about .9].

It is very clear cut that people like Vladimir Putin and fairly dislike Obama though.

Unfortunately its not a secret to immigrants: down to 70% white now, the cities should have a white minority in the next 20-30 years. Auckland probably sooner. They're pretty much importing an Asian ruling class which ruffles some feathers. It is a fantastic country aside from the left leaning nature of our politics, wouldn't want to grow up anywhere else.

You must realize that reddit is very North American in general. That, plus the fact that Americans don't really have a sub of their own for free speech. I'm surprised it's that low.

Most educated people are somewhat racist actually. Those who have finished real educations. A degree in gender studies won't teah you much but. You study medicine/biology you see how human biology actually is. You study law? You see how people of different races actually act. You study economy/finances you see why African countries are poor. You study history you see how the past actually was. Of course, with a degree in IT or engineering, those things probably don't concern you, but any real education on people(not taking away from IT or engineering guys, just not their field) makes you somewhat racist. Not as in hate, but you start seeing things. A degree in gender studies doesn't teach you shit either way.

This fucking comment. Well, in Europe we start university at 19 usually. At 24, you have had 5 years, which is enough for every course out there except medicine. Not to mention all the 3 year bachelor's degrees(political sciences, communications etc.).

This is a free speech sub, so it obviously also attracts the kind of people you're talking about, but it's not exclusive to those. So no, I can't say that this sub is not like that. It is partially like that, where some stupid Hitler admirers fantasize about a jewish conspiracy. I know those idiots are here, but I admire free speech and the more this sub gets frowned upon and people leave because of that, the more the userbase shifts to those far-right extremists.

I would consider myself a center-right semi-libertarian (my political views are kinda similar to the ones of Rand Paul in the US).

    hmm question to fellow finns. there are 19 of us here, but only 15 live in Finland. where did you guy's go and how can you live without sauna or mämmi. (i know that only 400 people where in this survey, and it doesn't accurately represent how many finns are in this SUB, butt still)
