    I definitely agree. If they want to have an online place to congregate and speak their mind, even if its some pretty negative and hateful stuff, I say let them do it. Who are we to go and report them for this stuff? What if they came here and started injecting their thoughts on to this reddit? Lets just have us do us, and they can do them.

    Please dont judge the many by the thoughts of the few. We are all different and each have our own opinions and feelings. It is the hatred and mocking of pages such as the facebook page mentioned earlier that deserves the attention.:)

    That page is loaded with hate. It is not just a place for them to congregate. It is a place to poke fun at, demean and hate anyone who is even slightly overweightor calls themself a bear. I am all for free speech and everyone is entitled to their opinion but when your pursuit of happiness infringes on mine then it is time for your pursuit to end. That page needs to be taken down immediately

      Bullying can be verbal as well and that page is just plain full of hate for anyone who is not s gym bunny. I will defend anyones right to their opinion but that page is stating falsehoods as though they are fact. Just the title of the page is offensive. The page is not about their opinion or what they feel. It is about hsting people who are different from what they consider the ideal body type.

        As sad as this page makes me (because I have really bad self confidence issues), they do have a right to have this page. Even if it is hateful and only further divides the LGBT community. But seriously, fuck whoever made this.

        What they're doing isn't hate speech. They aren't calling for anyone to be put to death. Comparing people to Nazis seems to be the new thing lately, they're doing it on the campaign trail regularly. Are they assholes? Probably. Is what they're doing violating Facebook rules? Probably not. Overweight people aren't a protected class and technically, for most of us, what he's saying is true. Being really over weight IS unhealthy and most of us could lose weight if we put our minds and bodies into it. I think whoever made this page is just looking for attention by spreading what you can read on just about any gay blog in existence. Plenty of gay men think fat, gay people need to go away and come back thin. This isn't a new mindset by any means.
