you know we live in a world were it's possible to view practically anything from a country (excluding north korea), and surprisingly many people actually partake in this activity, you see there's these things called "world news" and "international movies" hell there's even a few "international television shows"

Do you sit there watching Nigerian televeision and staying hip with their most recent slang and trends? Of course not. And not everyone cares about 'current American culture' either. The extent that many people stay in touch with american culture is by watching the simpsons and that's it. Get your head out your ass.
