Bitcoin subreddit automatically hiding posts & comments with word "Ethereum" or "ETH" (self.ethereum)

As the title says, the mods have set up the subreddit to now automatically hide all posts & comments containing the word "Ethereum" or "ETH".

Would be nice if someone else could test this out to confirm it, but on my end I made a comment in a thread with the word "Ethereum", opened an incognito window, and the post was no where to be seen. I then deleted the post, made a post without the word "Ethereum" and it was visible.

If my suspicions are true, this is quite hilarious but at the same time quite sad. Can I get a second confirmation please?

Tried to share a link to this on the subreddit with the words removed in the title but they've already blacklisted it. How do we get the word out about this? :/

This doesn't surprise me at all. I once pointed out a btc blog was spamming that sub using 100 accounts and a couple of the top mods very aggressively defended the spammer saying there's no way to be sure they weren't real users (except, you know, they ONLY submitted the blog and all accounts were created at the same time).

Also, one of those same mods works for changetip and they don't allow any tip bots except changetip in the sub. It's a super corrupt mod team.
