Shit is stupid.
It's the states, if you want to be an idiot I won't stop you. If the KKK wants to rally and has the permits, go for it. And people can go out and hate them with twitter and facebook or whatever else.
But they're still just following their right to assemble. You don't beat people up over that. If you're an American you stop those beating up the KKK because that's what you should be standing for.
Meh, guess that idea was thrown out the window. I don't care about the KKK, they have been useless. But guess what those idiots beating them up gave them more recognition. I actually dislike those attacking the KKK more.

Do you actually know anything about the kkk? They aren't pressuring the government for policy changes, they demonstrate to intimidate people and make it harder and scarier to go about their daily lives with threats, and occasionally acts of violence.
And quite frankly I don't give a shit what a bunch of aristocrats decided the country stood for, they're dead and I'm alive and I only care about our identity as a country is right now.
By the way, those ideals the US is supposed to stand for were put on place to fight tyranny, which is using threats of violence to control a population. Pretty sure that's exactly what the KKK is doing when they demonstrate

Violently oppressing others' first amendment rights is probably not the best way to stand against tyranny. I feel like we can condemn the violent and illegal tactics used by the KKK, or we can use those same tactics against them. It seems hypocritical to do both.
