All that is true, but denying the facts that the system is tilted in favor of the former slave owning race is in fact racist. I'm not even sure how far back I'd have to go to find an ancestor of mine that was ACTUALLY from Africa, yet i'm African-American in this country (despite my grandfathers being German and Italian). So saying I'm African-ANYTHING is racist (Deny that and you're just a bigot) Saying "we need to address black racism toward whites" is just arrogant. I don't condone ANY form of racism, but the fact remains if you profit off the blood of another race and hold them down you ought to expect some resentment down the line. Now with that said YOU might not have been a slave owner YOURSELF and I may not have ever been a slave MYSELF, but we BOTH live in a world where those things happened and WE have to deal with the consequences. To turn a blind eye to the struggles of a race (Knowing full well the extent of the oppression they faced) is racist, no matter how you look at it. I'm not a community, yet when i walk around in a (predominantly) white neighborhood, i get stopped by cops and told they got calls about a suspicious person. (you EVER had to deal with that in YOUR everyday life? You want to tell me that isn't racist?) WE may not be our ancestors, but WE DO have to pay for THEIR mistakes, like it or not.
