What's the worst political misconception in your opinion?
That right-wing is a synonym for rampant individualism/"libertarianism"/free markets.
"Racism is a right wing ideology."
I've got $30 on Rubio (at 3 to 1 odds off) to win the nomination. Watching US politics is a lot of fun most of the time (from a safe distance that is) but it's even more fun when you've got money in the game.
I think I have a problem.
I'd put good money on Clinton winning the Democratic nomination.
I would have too but the odds on the betting sites are so tilted in her favour that I might as well put the money in the bank to earn interest instead.
Yeah. My issue with putting money on Rubio is that, at this point, I don't know whether Rubio or Trump will win. South Carolina has convinced me that Cruz is probably going to drop out, eventually, but it will take him awhile, and Kasich never had a chance.
The betting markets agree with you, they're giving odds of 50% Trump, 40% Rubio, 10% Cruz. I'm not sure it's worth putting money on Rubio at those odds because I think they're realistic odds. I really only bet because the markets were saying less than 30% Rubio in mid January and I thought he was being undervalued. 40-50% is more reasonable.
Who are the Americans voting for this year? Reddit seems brainwashed to vote for Sanders.
I'm voting for Vermin Supreme because he's an anarchist influenced strongly by Kropotkin and he's offering everyone a free pony. (If he gets a second term, every pony can get a second human.)
Uphold Verminism-Ponyism!
