It's just edgy European teenagers that don't realize that they're living under NATO's umbrella, and by extension, America.

Huh? "They have bigger guns so let's not criticize them"? That's just the society I want!

No, it's "they spend the money for defense so my cou try doesn't have to and can put that into things like healthcare. They also create things that permeate my daily life, like developing CS, reddit, and even the internet itself, along with numerous other technologies that I use every day. So maybe I shouldn't act like the US is a shithole full of stupid fat lazy people and EU is the smart superior master race that's better at everything."

But it's easier to circlejerk against countries you've never been to, so you get this subreddit.

You're acting like a baby. I won't ever bow to countries because of their inventions, even if it's fun how your example is a video game. I wouldn't start loving the government of Saudi Arabia just because they had invented the internet. Would you? By the same argument, I guess the citizens of dictatures shouldn't criticize their leaders, since they provide them with safety?

When any country has a policy I find bad, I say so. If that makes their patriots sad, then I couldn't care less.

Second of all, I have been to the US, and many other countries. The population is not more unfriendly there than anywhere else. But that's not what we discussed, was it?

I don't think the US is a shithole. I don't think the US is full of fat lazy people. I don't think the EU is the smart superior master race. It's all straw men.

What I do think is that some of their policies in are bad. Someone's counter argument was NATO. That's childish.

Does the NATO argument work all the time by the way?

"The US shouldn't have the death penalty, I think."

"But... NATO?!?!"

I'm not sure you're discussing what the other guy and I were talking about - the ridiculous anti-US circlejerk that happens on this sub every day during EU peak hours. We're not talking about the mongolz incident specifically.

Another reason why the UK shouldn't leave the EU this year
