One of, if not the most disingenuous statements I see on this sub, is people calling ancaps hypocrites. This is blatantly not true, however. In fact, if they were hypocrites it would make their policies actually sound better.

As I stated in the comments of my last post, Anarcho-Capitalism is based off of one fundamental idea-a reorganization of the current wealth and power structure. This is why Praxing it out is so important to the ideology, because its the way to obscure this fact. This is also, in my opinion, not one influential official holds the ancap ideology, its because they already have power.

The common stated theme behind Anarcho-Capitalism(and Libertarianism, but libertarians aren't disingenuous about this) is personal freedom. Everything is based on freedom. But this freedom only effects a single generation. They don't care about what the second-generation in a society would have to face and adapt to, they only care about what they would be able to do, with their temporary freedoms.

This of course, leads to Praxing. Praxing can't ever be wrong, literally. If you can control the actions of literally everyone, from the start of time to the end of time, how can a system fail? The answer is that it can't, which is why Ancaps are forced to rely on "fuzzy logic"[sic] to justify their theories. You know the old saying of, "Don't argue with an idiot, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience"? That applies here. None of us reading this actually give enough of a shit about ancaps to learn how to argue with them on message boards.

So now we get to the most important part in understanding why ancaps have, and will continue to fail. They aren't hypocrites. That's literally their downfall. They genuinely believe that the world should allow the naturally gifted to control those without. Without resources, without knowledge, without luck. To an ancap, being without makes you second class. Corporations(AKA private governments) should literally control your life. This is the ultimate end goal of ancaps, is to have control over others.

And really it makes sense, if you believed you were a part of the master race, would you not try to control those who were of a lesser species?

And its for this reason I think I failed here. I still stand by everything I wrote, but I recognise that instead of disproving ancap theory, I just argued against what they praxed, not why they praxed.
