I think this sub is less about discussing libertarianism, and more about circle jerking between Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Bernie Sanders. This meme is fucking shit, and this sub is fucking shit.

It's gone downhill since election season started.

Just like the news. Same thing every 4 years.

Almost every sub has, in fairness

[–]CrossCheckPandaIndependently Libertarianish 9

Make your own libertarian sub.

Honestly, I considered it. I don't think I could do it justice.

The thing to do instead is destroy the noise with real content. If you really cared, you'd seek out content and submit it.

Real content is finite. How are we supposed to drown out infinite noise with finite content?

We need a large, well-curated libertarian subreddit.

There isn't finite content, there is simply finite imagination on the part of the people that may see cause to find that content.

There isn't finite content

For any given period of time, there is finite content. This is absolutely true. I can create new content, of course, but given that I'm not a deity or Star Trek energy being, I can only create finite content.

Given that other people are finite in number as well...

The only logical conclusion is that content itself is finite.

Do you not know what "finite" means, or do you always challenge plainly understood self-evident facts?

Agree with the concept. I come here to detox from /r/all circle jerk and these Crack me up, take a minute to read and there's still other stuff. So my suggestion to start a new board was really just he can leave it he doesn't like it

This whole sub isn't even really Libertarian. It's essentially /r/NeoConservative with some extra meme wank on top.

That's an apt description.

Seriously.

The two "filthy statist trolls", /u/matts2 and /u/Zifnab25 regularly are closer to libertarianism and/or know more about it than half the LINOs who post here now.

yep. this guy fucking nails it.

Don't forget the part where until Rand (Republican) dropped out, most of the people here practically ignored the actual Libertarian candidates. It always baffled me how unwavering so many were on different principles in discussion, yet settling for the "best available Republican" was so in vogue.

Welcome to election season.

i always find it amusing that people can get so upset over a meaningless post on the internet

bitter

^ Just another reason this sub sucks. No discussion, just trolling/name calling, libertarian elitism. Part of the reason libertarians don't get respect.
