What could be more gorgeous than a fluffy bunny the size of a dog?

Atlas the rabbit is exactly that - and he's looking for a new home.

Animal rescue workers are looking for a new home for the mischevious bundle of fluff after his owner was no longer able to look after him.

The Scottish SPCA staff at the charity's centre in Cardonald, Glasgow, took in the seven-month-old continental giant rabbit and are now appealing for potential new owners to come forward.

Centre manager Anna O'Donnell said: "Atlas is already about the size of a westie and is still young with some growing to do.

"He is a very friendly rabbit who loves attention and getting cuddles.

"Atlas is also an inquisitive boy who makes everyone laugh with his mischievous character.

"We are looking for a specific home for Atlas due to his breed and size. A standard rabbit hutch won't do so his new owner will need plenty of space for him.

"Atlas needs an owner with the knowledge to properly care for him, so ideally someone who has kept a continental giant before."

If you fancy owning him - he will need a pretty big hutch - you're in luck.

The charity is looking for potential owners to come forward and claim this gorgeous giant.

To give Atlas a home call the SPCA on 03000 999 999.

Atlas may be pretty massive - but he's not a patch on the world's largest rabbit.

Darius gets through 4,000 carrots a year and is as big as a human child.

He is the Guinness World Record holder for world’s biggest rabbit, weighs three-and-a-half stone and stretches out to an astounding 4ft and 4inches long. He comes from a long line of giant rabbits and his mother Alice held the title before him.

Darius is owned by a glamour model and her child.
