The following rules are of importance in Japanese culture. I would appreciate it if you could abide by these rules during your stay.
A) Smoking — In this listing I ask that you do not smoke inside the property. This includes opening and smoking near the windows and smoking on the balcony.
B) Noise — Tokyo is a very compact metropolitan area, so there are many families situated all over. I ask that you keep the noise level down during your stay, especially in the evenings. I have very nice neighbors and I want to be respectful in return. Please NO parties.
C) Security — I request that during your stay you keep the key and make sure the property is locked when no one is present.
D) Environmentally Friendly — Please make sure to turn off all the lights, air conditioner and heater, the gas for the stove, and running water when you leave the property.
E) Footwear — Please take off your shoes when you enter the property. This is very common in Japan and should be followed in most homes.
F) Trash — The high population of Tokyo has made trash separation a necessity. The separation of garbage is categorized into these four different types of garbage and recyclables:
1. General/ Combustible Garbage
2. Plastic Bottles
3. Glass Bottles
4. Cans
