Going back to real life... (self.oculus)

After playing a game with the DK2 for an extended period of time, I actually find it odd readjusting to my normal, real life, FOV. It's really strange when you get used to your head turning your vision by a certain amount in the DK2 and then switching back to your real vision and finding that it doesn't work quite like you expect. Anyone else experience this?

Real life has this odd HD quality. The 3D is better and pixel fill is so good I barely notice the SDE. Most important is the wireless room scale implementation.

No. I am quite happy to have my natural fov back, but i never played more than about 90min in my dk2.

This usually happens when you aren't achieving 75fps or/and visual lag. If everything is operating correctly at maximum FPS, you won't experience any problems between sessions or/and during.

This is also true, cv1 has a neat slider mechanism, that should solve a lot of problems!

Perhaps I'm not understanding you correctly. My head turns my vision just as much in the DK2 as it does in real life.

I dunno in Elite dangerous I use my eyes to glance at my instruments while keeping my head on the enemy just as I would in RL.

I have played in my DK 2 for about 5 hrs non stop and never felt anything like what you have described here. I would say make sure everything is running optimally with your Rift and content you are using.

Everyone is different so who knows. If everything is fine with your Rift and pc performance; it could be revealing something about you physically that you didn't know before. Good luck and report back if you find out what it was.

I had issues with this back in the DK1 days after long sessions. I'd feel kind of off, almost tipsy but not really. I haven't had this problem with the DK2 at all.
