Did you know Saudi Arabia's sand is so soft they have to import sand to use in sand blasting.

At first I thought, "Maybe because some people think Australian Camels are better than native ones" in the same way we would import cars from Japan but then I just realized that people over there probably drive cars now.

I looked up the real reason why this happens and it's less happy than I thought... it's because consumption exceeds production over there.

They eat the camels.

Camel is honestly delicious. I highly recommend it. When I had it in Qatar, it was prepared so damn well. They basically brought out this big crock pot type thing with an entire roast in there. The only problem I had was the mental aspect. After a while, I got kind of grossed out for some reason over eating camel. Still, absolutely delicious.
