Sowell is out of touched with modern reality of shit.
Many people are great about writing about hypotheticals. Great at teaching hypotheticals.
But can't function in real economic world and make a dollar for themselves.
As good as Sowell is, at writing about economics, i doubt he could run 1 business himself. And I have one of his books to read.
Most often than not, those that write about economics, have not instincts for anything, and cant actually economics themselves. And thats a FACT. Not many "economic writers" can run a business, or become rich.
They only are good at talking about it. Not doing shit.
You want to make a country, or business run well. Hire somebody that knows how to make deals, how to hire actual business doers. Somebody who has a proven track record growing and making wealth, jobs, and businesses in diverse fields.
As good as Sowell is at EXPLAINING/writing about basic economics, i doubt he could make an Ebay comic selling business thrive. And thats the truth of 95% of all "economic" teachers at Harvard and the like.
