1月17日、お年玉付き年賀はがきの抽選会があり、当選番号が発表された。当選番号と商品は以下の通り。
ANNニュースによると、現金10万円は過去最高額で、当選確率は100万本に付き1本の割合だという。引き換え期間は18日から2016年7月19日まで。
なお、余ったり書き損じたりしたはがきは、年賀はがき1枚につき5円の手数料で、普通はがきや切手に交換できる。NPOなどを通じて寄付することもできる。
日本ユネスコ協会連盟（東京都渋谷区）では、未使用のはがきなどを集めるキャンペーンを実施中だ。集まったはがきは郵便局で切手に交換したのち、協力企業の買い取りなどによって現金化。世界の子どもたちへの教育支援に生かされている。
連盟によると、１１枚のはがきでカンボジアの子ども１人がひと月学校に通えるようになるという。
