Considering that California is roughly twice the size of the UK, its a bit unfair to assume that everyone in California is the same or even falls under even some of the stereotypes. The coastline of California is 840 miles long, while Los Angeles and San Francisco takes up about 130 miles of it. Even then Los Angeles and San Francisco are massively different, having tons of different cultures within the cities alone.

Compared to the mostly democratic coastline, the central valley of California is mainly farmland and dairy farms, hosting a large population of Republicans.

Saying that Californians eat tofu is a grave offense to one of the largest providers of beef in the country.
