Asia is a Continent. The 7 continents are Asia, Africa, North and South America, Australia, Antarctica and Europe. I learned that when I was in preschool!

It's not a country, it contains many countries. It is traditionally one of the seven continents, the others being Europe, Africa, North America, South America, Antartica, and Australia. However if you look at a map, Europe and Asia are really one continent, which is called Eurasia. So the answer is neither, it is a portion of a continent.

Continent, there is no country called Asia! It's actually the largest continent as well.

Asia is a continent...Asians are all that is divided as Eastern Asia,Central Asia,
Southern Asia,Southeastern Asia,Western Asia and even Russia

Asian continent is all that is China,Vietnam,Korea,India,Thailand,Japan... etc. Wikipedia it.

Look at any globe or world map. Do you see "Asia" as a country? If not, it is one of the 7 major continents. Study your geography.

Best Answer: Is this a trick question? It is of course a continent. Generally speaking, Asia is divided into a few regions: North Asia (China, Japan, Korea etc), South East Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore etc), South Asia (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka etc) and Middle East (Saudi Kuwait, UAE, Iran, Iraq etc).
