Another brief break

Clinton: There are consequences to a 15 dollars minimum wage. A 12 dollar federal minimum wage would be much more feasible. Individual areas can and should go higher, like Seattle.
- /u/GodOfTime
OMalley: The more people earn, the more our economy grows. I didn't pass anything hire than 10.10 in Maryland because I couldn't get it past our legislature.
- /u/GodOfTime
Sanders: The reason why the unemployment level is as high as it is, is because people don't have enough spending money. We need a living wage.
- /u/exoendo
Sanders it is not a radical idea that if someone works 40 hours a week that they shouldn't live in poverty
- /u/exoendo
Sanders: I believe in fact this country needs to move towards a living wage
- /u/exoendo
Question for Sanders: re: wage issue - you have talked abotu raising wage to 15 dollars an hour... but this could lead to consequences of job lost.. what levels of job losses would you consider unacceptable?
- /u/progress18
Clinton: I know that the President has appealed the decision to the Supreme Court. My reading of the law and the Constitution is that the President has the authority with respect to DREAMers and their parents...we need a path to citizenship...
- /u/GodOfTime
Clinton: Let's begin pursuing a policy that is true to our history and that allows for the 11 million undocumented immigrants to come out of the shadows.
- /u/exoendo
Question for Clinton: you said you would go further than the president on immigration reforms..but the president is already facing legal trouble on this.. realistically how can you go further with executive action?
- /u/GodOfTime
OMalley: Our symbol is the statue of liberty, not a barbwire fence.
- /u/GodOfTime
OMalley: The net immigration from Mexico last year was 0.
- /u/exoendo
Question for O'Malley: re: letting syrian refugees in - republicans say securing borders are a top priority.. are you willing to compromise on this issue first in order to keep the country safer?
