ジョン・ホイットニー(英国)


John Whitney is a contract engineer with almost thirty years experience
in commercial management and claims for British, French, and Japanese
contractors on a wide variety of projects worldwide.
In 1971, John entered the industry as a quantity surveyor for consulting
engineers A G Stone & Partners. He developed his skills as a consultant
to British contractors on a variety of roads, bridges, pipelines, and
water-related projects in the UK. John moved to Iraq in 1981 with
responsibility for claims for the French contractor on the $2.1b Baghdad
water networks scheme. When DSG formed out of A G Stone in the mid-80s,
John was involved in further claims for French contractors in Europe and
Africa.
With DSG in Hong Kong from 1988 on, John was responsible for the claims
on two major fast-track building projects and several marine civils
projects for French and Japanese contractors. John left Hong Kong in
1996 to take up a position as senior contract engineer for the lead
contractor in the US-Japanese consortium on the $1.8b Paiton power plant
in Indonesia. Since 1999, John has pursued claims for Japanese
contractors on further power projects around the world. |
