Knights cannot even deal with decent wall on their own, they are only useful as meat shields in front of archers, witches and artillery.
If you try to attack magic towers and howitzers with them, they get completely eliminated in no time.

Boobjobs were expected since LoV. It sucks, but most people dealt with it since Nutaku was nothing at the time, and took Nutaku's word for it that they would improve their stance on censorship when they got more successful. The alternative was never getting girls like Mischa... which still hasn't happened, but then we got Shiho and completely unedited, which people thought was never gonna happen.

Then boobjobs came for characters that didn't even have h-scenes (Saga). It was annoying, even if the boobjobs didn't look like shit (arguably some cards like Anastasia looked even better). Some people complained, but apparently not enough raised a fuss about it. Where the fuck were you then?

Then we got eyejobs and all the other shit in Osawari. That was obviously the last straw.

Point is, the censorship was getting worse. The complaints over the past month weren't because of boobjobs in general, but because the level of censorship had gotten ridiculous. This Osawari event is more in line with people's expectations. No ridiculous eyejobs or other stupid edits, and the only loli gets boobjobbed. Done.

If Nutaku devs are reading this, let's keep it that simple, hmm? If you can get some lolis to slide under the radar, even better.

Yep, it is the saddest thing seeing someone start attacking me by dumping 10 archers down near my tent. They attack some tower, 2 witches come out of my tent and AoEs them all down in 2 shots. Actually, this guy put down 20 archers total - 10 more to respond to my witches. He killed one but lost all those archers too because CLUMP. This remaining witch then killed so much because the guy sent in clumps of knights and artillery.

In another battle, someone sent a clump of witches who got AoE'd down by my magic tower. They were shooting at irrelevant targets the whole time.

I'm at 1000 position in ranking with 60 points, pretty much ignoring the event. Seems like Girls Kingdom didn't attract much of attention on nutaku.

So, after 22 paid premium rolls I ended up with 7 Divas. I took this as a sign I should learn how to use them.

They are ridiculous. If you want to put down all your archers in one big clump, this is the reason. They follow your units and buff their attack. One diva can noticeably (but not outrageously) improve your archerball's DPS. I'm not mana-rich enough to dump 4 of them down at once.

So you send your tanks out to protect the archerball. They're getting beaten up pretty bad by AoE towers and traps. Diva heal skill. It's got a 12h cooldown - that means I get 7 battles with 1 heal each per 12h.


Once my units recover, I'll do a proper experiment to see how much Divas buff attack by. Could be I'm seeing things.

4* "challenges" are disappointing, they are newb-oriented. Its same map with same enemies but 1 life point and additional condition added like "only females" or "only males" or "no healers" etc. At least you get one more SC from it.

So yes, 4* does give you a SC reward. Awesome, because I'm going to need them badly.

Not sure if I'm misjudging it, but her skill sounds pretty bad at rank 1, in the sense of I'm not sure if I'd even want to use it. +3 block on a unit without particularly high defense sounds more like a downside than an upside, and the 1.1 multiplier doesn't do much to make her tanky. Higher ranks with better defense boost could make it pretty good though.

Her awakening ability is apparently that she increases cost of all your units by +2, but increases defense of everyone by 10% (when she's in your team, not just on the field, so you need to decide before you start the map). Sounds very good on maps where you can afford having a slow start in exchange for power, e.g. Subjugation maps where it takes ages before any relevant enemies arrive.

Getting cost reductions on item gathering events looks painful, but depending on how good she is, it could be worth it. She does look pretty cute, and so far my only duelists are Sybilla and Isabel.

Do trading post revival event units have a higher chance of cost reduction, or is it really as ridiculous as it sounds?

The way I understand it, it's apparently 150 crystals for the first time, then 100 for each new copy. Following the normal rules of 100%, 50%, 25% chance progression, that's 150 to obtain her, 100 for first CR, 200 for 2nd CR, 400 for each of the 3 after that (on average), totalling 1650 required crystals. Which you can get at a ratio of less than 2 per stamina. Even if we round it up to 2 crystals per stamina, that's 825 stamina required, which means you need about 650 stamina from crystals, and that's not counting charisma refills which you will also need. Which brings me to about 50 SCs as average cost for a platinum event unit. And that's for completely focusing on the revival during a time where we get 1.5 drop multiplier on pretty much anything else we do.

I mean, I get that revival events are meant to be less efficient than the original run, but this sounds a bit extreme. I know that I could just get one copy to tank the heavy stuff, but it feels so wasteful to awaken and maxlevel a unit that you can hardly ever use because it's too expensive for regular maps.

Can I also tank the "ultra heavy hitters" with a Bernice with skill active, or do I need someone who can passively take 4k hits for longer than the duration of the skill?

If you need a duelist, there is no better free one than Imeria, and her cost is not really an issue in most cases. She was like the 4th event that happened when I first started and she carries my ass until I got better duelists from gacha. Even now she's still useful for her awakening passive to tank golems.

also, the 100/12 map is so far the most stamina efficient map for revival crystal farming, so either way you can't lose by running it, for Imeria or to save them. Not like there's much to do on weekends anyway.

Compared to the dragon maid, artillery isn't bad if you have good tower upgrades. Provided you kill the tanks quickly and your towers don't die from AoE, artillery suicide into them (just like archers). Better still if you have witches around and enemy archers/witches aren't around.

Investing in economy takes priority though.

Huh, I'm rank 40 in GK? Gee I felt bad about how mana-intensive each PvP was but that's pretty good. Time to see how tower upgrades affect this.

Why would u want to have a good defense in GK at the moment? A defeat in defensive battle doesn't affect your event ranking, the more people attack you the bigger you chances for sealed stones, the only drawback is you lose battle points, but many actually consider this an advantage as supposedly less battle points means weaker opponents in pvp (but the loss is insignificant anyway).

The only viable reason I could think of would be the "win x defensive battles" quest, but it can be completed during defensive events, and even with your castle and all storages etc outside of your defenses you still occasionally win since some people only come for resources or just fail to kill your castle on time. And the amount of attacks is multple times higher. Such setup scored me 5-6 defensive wins and 2 sealed stones within the last ~15 hours. All the buildings scattered over the whole map and the castle is only defended by 2 watch towers, so I can get some kills. People often go for 3* anyway (probably cos of the fever or just relatively cheap 3*), losing like 15-30 units in the process. Imo it's benefitial for both of us, but maybe I'm missing something, in which case I'd be grateful if someone could point that out.

Sadly I'm still seeing more and more people with heavily defended castles and usually even resources, and dragon maids as additional defense. I just abort when I see one, obviously, so the guy doesn't get any kills as I consider that unit a cheat when used in defense, cos it negates it's only drawback, which is high production time.

1) Yup I'm aware of that, that's why I only leave the resources completely undefended, the castle has some defense that always scores some kills, namely 2 watch towers + the traps. I also kill the all the units when they're finished with the castle and storages, so it's always at least 10 kills, most people go for at least 2* though so it's more like 15-20 kills on average, sometimes much more. And I get attacked like 2-3 times a hour usually cos people need those stars now when the event's active.

The problem as the game goes on is that trying to roll for a specific unit gets harder and harder as more new units are added in, which also hurts their sales since people are less tempted to roll.

You can almost guarantee though, that the old units will come back into rotation some time in the future. It's going to be like the trading post, sorta.

Or maybe they'll just add another button to roll for a separate pool. They're definitely not going away forever though.

I mostly did Siege over and over to get the silver samurai guy, but I managed to do all of the other missions too, though I only cleared the last one by the skin of my teeth.

Enemy puts down a couple Selma (artillery). One gets eaten by a crop circle exactly where she'd show up. Just as planned.

Enemy rages and throws everything (knights, automata) at once in a big ball. Knights get AoE'd down quick. Automata get busy shooting the chaff outside my base. Remaining artillery eaten by the last howitzer.

Personally I've learned hard way that correct way is:
1. Release 1 nano near tent, check what guards are there. If dragons, abandon. If witches or samurai, lure them away with some more nano and then kill with witches.
2. Release 1 nano at position where I plan to deploy arty.
3. Release remaining soldiers around walls near the point I plan to storm from, to absorb traps.
And only then I proceed with knights/arty combo to wipe out stuff.

Belinda's first revival happened about a week after that, and it was during the monk event.

I'M CRYING over how big a difference artillery makes. 3* attacks are so cheap now, because my double knights can actually attack towers instead of sitting outside walls. Likewise it's easy to make my soldiers contribute too. All it takes is ONE Selma to do what I'd previously assigned several archers and witches to achieve.

Rin's not so useful, but the silvers are nice. More silver HAs, soldiers and bandits are critical.

I've been needing platinum fairies for awhile now and just realized instead of phalanx 2, I can do the dailies for fairies too. Is it worth it though? The drop rate doesn't seem that much better and I can also get affection items from phalanx 2.

Well after playing it a while I think I will not play dragon tactics (probably). Its kinda like valkyrie crusade except with a more complicated skill system that not sure is better. I like the look of the cards but don't think the gameplay is interesting enough for me.

Also just for info the sex is like lov where you need to get a card copies of itself to get scenes, though if the game is right its just "memories" you are looking back on that they did.
