Hi! Fellows traders,

I want to share my strategy to trade forex daily without fear.

I use most of the time 3 times frame :

Daily chart : Looking the trend for the day

15 minute chart : Looking for retracement

5 minute chart : To pinpoint an entry

I trade live with this system only a month but I had good results. That why I want to share with you.
If you have constructives suggestions you can share in this thread.

I will give you 2 ways to enter a trade in the next post:
1- Conservative
2- Aggressive

How to determine the trend for the day

On the daily chart, we look the last HA candle :

1- If HA candle is purple ---- Downtrend

​2- If HA candle is green ---- Uptrend

NB.: Heiken Ashi is not repaint

It is very simple !

The channel :

Price tends to trade between the channel.

The channel consists 3 parts :

1- Upper channel
2- Middle
3- Lower channel

I will explain more details in the next posts

15 minute chart : Retracement

1- The daily trend is up then we wait the first signal entry stop to be painted purple

2- The daily trend is down then we wait the first signal entry stop to be painted green


THEN GO TO 5 MINUTE CHART TO LOOK A PINPOINT ENTRY

5 minute chart : Pinpoint an entry

SHORT TRADE

1- Aggressive :

-HA candle is painted purple and closes below the 2 MAs
-THV (fast), DSS and supertrend are purple

2- Conservative :

-HA candle is painted purple and closes below the 2 MAs
-DSS and supertrend are purple
-THV(fast with thick line) cross down the THV(slow) and the 2 lines are purple

Best wishes for your first thread!
It sounds interesting.
Would you clarify the role of that channel indy? Is it for sl and tp (on m5)? Meseems that no matter where price is on D1 inside the channel because your long example shows price in the topmost area of the channel.

5 MINUTE CHART : BEST IDEAL ENTRY

SHORT TRADE :

1) Price trades in or above the zone of upper channel and HA candle is painted purple (Best Entry)
2)THV (fast line) is purple
3)THV histogram is above the zero line and decreases value (Best Entry)
4)DSS is purple and above the zero line (Best Entry)
5)Supertrend is purple

NB.: You can take profit in half position at the middle of the channel and the rest try to surf until price touch the lower channel.

SHORT TRADE

Because price trades close to the middle of the channel. Price may bounce back to the upside.

GBPUSD taken friday morning : BEST IDEAL ENTRY FOR SHORT TRADE


I start my trading session at midnight ET until London closed ET

I need only 24 pips + spread included with full lots

Most of the time, I trade only GbpUsd

1 minute chart : Be careful enter on this time frame

SHORT TRADE

1) Price must trade through or above the upper channel to consider a signalVERY VERY IMPORTANT
2) THV lines must cross down above the zero line (BEST ENTRY)
3) TrendWave must be in the OB zone and displays purple point (OB) (BEST ENTRY)
4) MTF sochastic( TF:5, 10,3,3) (HL) cross down

Hi! Fellows traders,

If you have any doubts to be cleared together you post your chart I will try to give more constructives explanations so you can trade better in the futur.

BTW, I trade 4 majors pairs : GbpUsd, EurUsd, AudUsd, UsdJpy. Because I had tested with these pairs about more a year with the strategy. In the past I used Cowabunga system in Babypips to trade only GbpUsd. But the MAs are lagging. When there is a consolidation it is very hard to trade. But Heiken Ashi is perfect tool to determine the trend for the day in the daily chart. It is important don't put many fancy indicators on your chart because it can make you blinded. But you can use any indicators you want if you think it is absolutly necessary for your success in a long run.

Yep ! That's the main point ! All what I can see here actually are pictures in fact discribing the past. The entries look best now, but did you have the same chart pictures at the time in the past you went in or did like/plan to enter the trade ? The now all the same old story ... indis are repainting, lagging ... bla bla bla ...

Once HA candle closed there is no repainted.

THV may repaint but once the 2 lines crossed it gives you a solid confirmation. But this is not the problem for me.
THV is like MACD. But MACD is very lagged. I think THV is better than MACD.
When THV changes color it gives us an early warning of the price action.

DSS is not repainted

Stochastic is not repainted but lagged. This is not the problem for me.

MA is not repainted but lagged. This is not the problem for me.

Supertrend is not repainted

trendwave is not repainted

signal entry stop is not repainted

Channel is not repainted but sometimes when you go back to 1 month data the channel may change the amplitude a little bit. But this is not the problem for me.


NB.: Repaint occurs because there is a problem with the algorithm. But when THV line is repainted because of the nature of price. Price is dynamic. So the algorithm is recalculated.


Sometimes the notion of lagging gives us a safety entry. Because trading the top and the bottom is a doom strategy easily blowing account very fast.

I don't remember exactly the THV histogram but you can go to the thread THV system, final edition. I took the indicator from there. Also you can do google search.

I had tested the strategy more a year with the consideration of the THV histogram. Because it provides me an early changing in direction. Once the histogram is sitting below the zero line the trend is almost resumed. There are less pips on the table.
