Doesn't Lower Quality of My Pix
I decided to make my daughter's graduation announcements myself (May 2014) using her senior portraits that we had done and a few apps that I purchased in the App Store. In order to use multiple shots, I first wanted to create a few collages, but unfortunately every collage app that I used reduced the quality of the photos. I would have each collage professionally printed to "test" that the quality of the pix were not affected, and each time they would come out very grainy/blurry/pixelated. The actual pix were VERY high quality professional photos, so I knew that it had to be the apps that were causing the issues. I found this app and was delighted that I had finally struck gold! It has been the only collage app that I will use since then. It also has a lot of frame adjustment options that I was never able to find with other apps. Very happy overall.
Great App Fun To Use
I'm quite impressed with the versatility of this app, whether you are just into making collages or are working with a single image it's a joy to work with. Produces fresh, clean looking results, with plenty of optional functionality for those that like to dive in to the features. Extra points for the text editing capability, and the font selection is excellent. Even though there are in-app purchase locks on some of the high end add-ins, they aren't necessary to produce some incredible results, as none of main features are crippled without them. I'm not big on stickers, but they seem to have a pretty broad range available if you'd like them. The optional frames and magazine styles look pretty good, and it's nice to be able to preview some of them as well. They have decently priced in-app bundle package as well, if you want to give it a go.
Best collage app, great resolution for prints
I don't like collage apps, but this app is an exception and exceptional. It has a good balance between fun and professional looks and does not skimp on options. Collage or stitch photos together. The magazine layouts are fabulous even though most of them say Moldiv on them. Sample images are pre-loaded so you get an idea of what the layout looks like. Just tap on a photo to insert your own image. Don't see a stamp you want? Clip it out of a photo or art JPEG you have saved.
While most apps save your work as unprintable low resolution, Moldiv saves at low, medium or high resolution (3264x2176), so you can actually get a good print of your file. There's a tutorial video you can play when the app opens, but the interface is so intuitive, you won't need to watch it.
The only way this app could be improved is to add the ability to personalize the text in Magazine Layout Mode.
I'm not fond of apps with in-app purchases, but this one gives you the option of getting them all for $5.99 when you open it- way cheaper than getting the individual packages! Kudos to the developers!
