I don't really think he was disagreeing. I believe he is just running with the joke of this thread. A R9 380 would run fine off a reputable brand 500W Bronze rated power supply (thinking budget EVGA, Corsair). I wouldn't suggest overclocking it or getting an overclocked one but it should be fine otherwise.

I don't really think there's a point of saying "i respect your opinion" and then that's pretty much it. Why not further the discussion in a controversial way or at least in a way which keeps it interesting instead of just telling people you respect their opinion. Seriously, what the fuck does that do when you just tell someone you respect their opinion and disagree with them, that's it. Why not tell them why. No one gives a shit if you respect their opinion, they only care for why you disagree and show you points.

While that's a nice display of courtesy, I can't help feeling that it's a little misplaced. Respecting the opinions of others when it comes to subjective, personal preference is all well and good, but GPU performance is not a matter of opinion, it's an objectively, empirically measurable fact. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, not to their own facts.

Performance isn't all there is to a card though. There's also features (ShadowPlay, Gamestream), power usage, size, reliability and even aesthetics. The OP in the image never said "The R9 380 has much better performance", but rather that it's "better" overall, which is a matter of opinion.
